nice winter course
For mid January the course was in good shape.I enjoyed my round.The clubhouse bar was semi closed after our play.It would have been better time if we could have knocked down a few. Best of luck on your new local George and Rick!
excellent experience
not quite a five star course but a five star experience, i have played this course five times this week amd have enjoyed it everytime. I have been a single and they have placed me with others as well as letting me go out on my own spotting me in a good place to be able to enjoy my pace of play. Staff is very friendly and helpful, I have played many of tthe best courses in Myrtle Beach in the winter and this courses condition is as good as most of the best. greens roll great and fairways are in great shape, they dye there fairways instead of overseeding and i think the ball sits better on these fairways than the over seeded ones. I recommend this course

Hot stuff
I just bought real estate in the area and was chomping at the bit to play this course. Overall I really enjoyed it - for me I shud have played the tips - ( 9 handi) Would I go back again? - ABSOLUTELY !!!
Friendly staff - bar closed too early. Nice range - but golf hats USD 32 is ridiculous. Also I played 2 days in a row on a weekend and they didn't change the pin placements - shame on you. But I WILL BE BACK. j

Friendly staff and great conditions
Was met by a very friendly staff who took care of everything on arrival. It was a relatively slow day and they let me go out early. Didn't know what to expect being right after the storm but I was pleasantly surprised to find they had the course looking and playing great. Had such a great time I went back and played it again 2 days later.

Excellent course
This course is in great shape. Enjoyed the round and was a great price. Was challenging enough for an average golfer like me.

Staff are outstanding!!!
We played here a few days after they received over 10 inches of rain. So it was cart path only for the entire course. The staff from greeting at bag drop until the 19th hole were all outstanding and friendly. Had a great conversation with two gents at the bag drop and they were loaded with great tips for or stay in MBSC The bartender was a sweetheart and quick to keep everyone happy at her full bar. The course was in great condition considering all the rain they received. This is a must play on my list when I visit.

Myrtle Beach gem
First time played. Nice layout. Bunkers washed out due to recent rains. Great greens, firm fairways.

Great Course! Play It!
We played this course yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was cart path only due to the course still being a little soggy from the tropical storm that passed through last week but the fairways and greens were both very nice! My only "con" would be for the staff to tell you it's cart path only when you call to book the tee time and not find that out when you get there to check in. Other than that little minor issue, everything else was great! The staff was friendly and helpful, we saw the bev cart girl several times during our round, and they had water coolers about every three to four holes on the course. By the way, the course was not too bad to walk from the cart paths...the mild weather definitely saved us! We will play this course again!

First Time
The challenge was the narrow fairways and the the houses near by
Hey "ksberb" we apologize that you had some difficulty out there on the course. Hopefully, now that you have seen the layout next time will be more enjoyable.
Seniors tees are long
This is really a nice course except the yellow tees are too long for me and the red tees are too long for my wife. She played the blue tees and that was better. The only holes I could reach in regulation were the par 3's. I am 68 years old and can only drive about 175 yards with any control. Longer hitters would not have the same problem. I really enjoyed the round and recommend the course. Greens are well kept and fairly fast Maybe I'll try the red tees next time.

Zero issues
I had zero issues with anything, all day. Considering the Fall/Winter endured by the whole area, course conditions were miraculous. I felt well instructed and informed by all of the staff (pro shop, cart staff, starter, marshals, drink cart).

Average course for the price
We were disappointed in the greens and overall condition of the course. Pretty course and worth playing although I wouldn't consider it a good deal for the price of green fees.
