Really interesting & fun

Highly recommend it. Interesting, challenging, yet fair. I suspect it would be too difficult and not too enjoyable for high handicap (+18 ) players. Course was in great shape overall. Green's are well projected and a number of holes you need to be able to drive well to reach the fairway. Really good selection of his holes and nothing that was crazy unfair or circus/target golf.

Fun course!

Overall the course was very good. The green speed was good but it seemed like the greens were bumpy especially on longer putts. That would be attributable to the amount of play and lots of ball marks.

Expected better.

The pace of play was an issue. There was a fivesome two groups in front of us which shouldn’t be allowed. The design is great. The fairways were not cut. Dead center of fairway was like the first cut off rough on most premiere or even average golf courses. The driving range was very nice.

Good layout in pretty good condition

This is the 2nd time I have played Bears Best in 4 years. I like the track as it’s a very interesting and challenging Nicklaus design. Course was in good shape for the most part. Bare spots here and there on tees and a lot on fairways. Greens rolled decent but bumpy in spots. Overall, it is a well taken care of property. Great practice facility, range right in front of the pro shop. Very nice staff. Pace of play was good.
