About
Gripping it and ripping it may be in vogue, but course architect team Brian Curley and Lee Schmidt are not going to let that be the extend of your strategy at Siena Golf Club.
This Las Vegas course is about shot-making more than bombing away. Siena's 97 pot bunkers are arranged to force frequent strategic decisions. Sometimes discretion is the better part of scorecard valor at Siena.
Hooking the ball every which way is paid for dearly at Siena. It's best to go with the clubs you can hit reasonably straight and give up a little distance.
Views of the surrounding mountains are complemented by six different water bodies, including Lake Siena. You'll be strategizing in some striking scenery.
"I don't think you'll come away impressed with this course," marketing director Mick Toscano said. "I think you'll come away awestruck."

Nice Course- needs work
Fairways and greens need some work. Lots of ball marks on greens but putts still rolled true. Fairways thin and in need of reseeding. Tees were painted green. Hitting off dirt on Driving range

Great course, poorly managed.
I get frost delays. However, it was handled very poorly. I get to the course, they are out of carts. Ok, how do I get to the practice facilities. “You can walk, it’s that way”. That’s fine, it’s a nice day. No room on the range. Very small about 15 people queued and no room on the range. I ask where can I chip? They don’t have any chipping facilities. So I go putt. An hour later a spot opened up on the range. So I go to warm up. There are no balls. Everyone is borrowing from each other. I guess I won’t even warm up. So I sit on the grass with the others. 40 mins later after my tee time I ask the starter for a refund. He said no, that’s our policy. I can’t even get 18 holes in. It was so backed up I would be lucky to get in 9. So I go to clubhouse and ask for a refund. They gave me a voucher which was good, but denying anyone after a 1 PM tee time. No carts, no balls, no chipping, no courtesy.

2nd time- not as good experence
Love the layout of this course. Don’t book after 12:00 in the winter if you want to play 18. Had 1:00 tee time- finally got out at 1:45. Starter let a single out, then a two some, then our time. Not thrilled!! Driving range was beat to badly. Very slow play- no marshal. Green peppered with marks. Overseed of fairways was sparse- so lots of thin spots. Bunnies are destroying the tee boxes. Vegas is pretty overpriced for visitors. Not a “deal” at $110/ player.

Don't waste your time
They booked the tournament and then overbooked for the afternoon the tournament was so late they were an hour behind schedule didn't offer to reduce green fees charge me $20 for practice balls when i refused to pay $90 for what would be 9 holes by the time i tee off
Driving range was a mess I understand only giving up one section at a time of the driving range for the bays.
but good God move the ropes at least forward 5' either way so practice swings actually off grass not off dirt. only hitting off the torn up turf with sand ?

Overbooked late start 1hr
They overbooked the course way too many people they booked a tournament that morning the driving range was torn up all dirt overpriced range balls at $20 a bucket no compensation for the late starts course was packed full of people 3 hour 9 holes

Fix your ball marks!
The greens were chewed up. I’m not sure how there could be so many ball marks when the greens were actually hard to hit.

Good for a Hot Deal
Played on a Sunday last minute hot deal. Looked like the course wasn't busy from the tee sheet. Got to the 4th hole and it was backed up. Two guys I played with left after 6, not sure it it was because it was cold or the slow play. I then joined up with 3 women in front of me. We were waiting on a twosome the entire back nine. No ranger in sight.
Course was in good shape, greens were fast. A few blind shots, need to be sure to look at the free course guide. Will test your game, plenty of tee boxes for all levels of golfers. I definitely wouldn't have paid the rack rate.

to early to be playing
the golf course was barely ready for play after coming out of overseeding and it definitely wasn't ready for carts allowed to drive down the middle of every fairway matting down what little grass there was. What a shame
as it was a decent layout
