About
Gripping it and ripping it may be in vogue, but course architect team Brian Curley and Lee Schmidt are not going to let that be the extend of your strategy at Siena Golf Club.
This Las Vegas course is about shot-making more than bombing away. Siena's 97 pot bunkers are arranged to force frequent strategic decisions. Sometimes discretion is the better part of scorecard valor at Siena.
Hooking the ball every which way is paid for dearly at Siena. It's best to go with the clubs you can hit reasonably straight and give up a little distance.
Views of the surrounding mountains are complemented by six different water bodies, including Lake Siena. You'll be strategizing in some striking scenery.
"I don't think you'll come away impressed with this course," marketing director Mick Toscano said. "I think you'll come away awestruck."

first time
Pleasant course, wide open fairways nestled amongst modest homes. A few pretty holes with scenic backdrop. Fairway bunkers were awful- no sand just gravel base

Greens fees went up, But so did the quality and conditions.
I have played the course several times over the years and conditions were never better than today. Play was a little slow (being a single behind the last foursome of the men's club event) but I was very pleased to wait in the shade and sometimes play two balls. I am a 3ish handicap and shot around my handicap at 76. Please commend your Superintendent and greens crew. Great job!

Variety of Tees Helps in the Sun
Hot day but so many tee box choices let us move up so we worked a little less hard to get the round in. But unlike so many Vegas course the grass was full, green and rich- fun to take a divot.

Great time!
Frequent cart girl, nice staff, beautiful range, wildlife everywhere, accurate GPS. The rough and bunkers are not where you want to be, particularly on this course.

Nice Track
I saw they were charging $170 for 18 on their web site. I went to GN and saw a 11:30 $45 fee so I booked it. The staff was great and the course was nice. I was glad I was playing with a person who had played there before. Some of the the holes you need to not hit a driver and place in the fairway. As with any LV course all the greens run to the strip away from the mountians no mater what it looks like. Pace was fast 4:15 hours to play 18. The club rental was high and did not include balls. I was over $120 for clubs, 6 balls and a glove. I did not loose a ball and just played one of them. I as if I could get refund for the unopend pack and was told "we don't give ball refunds". Over all I like the course and the people and would defiantly recommend it.

Hurry Up!!!
Let’s start this by saying that on Tuesdays they have a mens league in the morning. So that’s, that. After almost 3 hours to play the front 9, I tried the tee box at 10 but after waiting 20 minutes, I left. There was a 2some in front of us and a 4some in front of them. The problem was the 4some!! They would spent 15 minutes on the green!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 15 minutes for 4 guys to putt!!!! This went on ALL MORNING!! Horrible!! There was a back up of 4 groups on 10 while the 4 guys screwed around up there. I love this course. Close to home, friendly staff, great service, course is always great BUT never again on a Tuesday!!

Well Managed Course
Friendly and helpful staff. Interesting course with strategically placed bunkers that values accuracy over distance. Some water that comes into play on two holes. Would play here again on my next trip to Vegas.
