About
Gripping it and ripping it may be in vogue, but course architect team Brian Curley and Lee Schmidt are not going to let that be the extend of your strategy at Siena Golf Club.
This Las Vegas course is about shot-making more than bombing away. Siena's 97 pot bunkers are arranged to force frequent strategic decisions. Sometimes discretion is the better part of scorecard valor at Siena.
Hooking the ball every which way is paid for dearly at Siena. It's best to go with the clubs you can hit reasonably straight and give up a little distance.
Views of the surrounding mountains are complemented by six different water bodies, including Lake Siena. You'll be strategizing in some striking scenery.
"I don't think you'll come away impressed with this course," marketing director Mick Toscano said. "I think you'll come away awestruck."

Great course and staff!
A great course to play! Already in great condition for March. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The course is challenging and yet for a beginner like me, gives you a great day of golf. The carts are well taken care of and also have GPS, which is always nice. It did take about five hours for a round, but that seems pretty typical when there are so many players. It certainly did not deter from a great day of golf. Definitely recommend playing this course!
First time
I was impressed with the speed of the greens. They were very smooth and fast. The only complaint was the fairway bunkers. They are so deep you have to hit sideways out

Golf March Madness
My reviews are mixed, I played like Spaulding but actually enjoyed the course.....the starter did an excellent job of getting everybody out on their scheduled T time....ours was 11:46......my only issue was #10 . we were backed up 3 foursomes......In fairness the 10th hole played tough....would recommend but not for 122.00

Not a bad layout but houses are close
Fairways in excellent shape but the putting greens were bad. Repair your ball marks people!

Great course! Friendly staff.
Course was in excellent condition. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Hotdogs at the turn were excellent. Will definitely come back.

Nice course and layout!
Really nice course. In good shape. Pace of play was good…fairways in very good shape. Greens are fast, don’t stick and tough to navigate. Very windy conditions today but would definitely recommend.

Worth playing
We enjoyed the course nestled in the houses. From the looks on the Google maps overhead, it looked like any other suburban neighborhood course, but once you start playing you feel like it is more open secluded then you really are. Greens were fast and in great condition.

Marshall needed
Greens at Siena are some of the best in all of Las Vegas. Pace of pace was atrocious. 5.5 hour round was ridiculous. Never saw a Marshall try to speed anything up. Especially out of town golfers with rental clubs. This course is very penal if your not accurate off the tee. Pace of Play was a huge problem.

Nice course, poor pace of play today
Course was nice and in good shape for winter. Staff were friendly too. Had 1:00 tee time on a Sunday so expected it to be busy, and as we teed off we were told that is was playing slow today. Course did all the right things to this point. Unfortunately we still had to play the last 2 holes in the dark, sunset happened on hole 15. There are things that the course can do to speed up play, please consider doing so. Is was a significant detraction from an otherwise nice day on a good course.

Marshals Needed
Course needs to keep the pace of play up. There was a group of 16 in front of us and they were there to party not golf. In 5 hours only got 14 holes in before sun went down. Bad management.
