Siena Golf Course

Greens over sanded and aerated last week but no mention in booking process, unfortunately.

One of the better layouts and grounds crews in Vegas. Can be slow on the weekends, but a 6:52 start on Thursday and we were done in 3 hours flat. Slick, deceiving greens with areas on the course you think you’re putting uphill and you can blow it 10 feet past in a hurry. Generally roll very well and pin positions seem fair almost always. Solid driving and well placed tee shots provide for many scoring opportunities. Only downside this round was the greens had just been aerated and sand filled and unfortunately there was no warning or discounted greens fee! Not much else to complain about. Mostly 5 star spot.

Overall the course was in great shape, they recently aerated. The fairways had minimal holes due to the maintenance. The greens however had a Sand Top coat on them. Difficult to putt through. The greens should be perfect within the next 5 days or a week. As far as the bunkers go, my playing partner found every single sand trap on the course, and according to him, the bunkers were firm VV

Pace of play was a bit slow. They sent out lots of twosomes in lieu of foursomes.

Course had just been aerated and greens were sanded heavily. Played decent, but wish I would have known about the aeration.

Course in great shape. Clubhouse and grill/restaurant was top notch with good service and food. Course was in fantastic shape, bunkers were plentiful and very challenging as were the greens. Fairways were generous making for an overall enjoyable buddies trip outing. Only negative was a lack of a shapely game chipping area.

Rather upset with this course management not informing me that I double booked and made no attempt to let me know. Double charged me and so did Golf Now. One round of golf cost me $249. Never will play at this course or use golf now at any time. Crooks !!

Was excited to finally play this course, checked in and headed to the range, the range was a little sandy in spots so had to find a good grass area to warm up in. They paired me up with other single and were able to get us out earlier then my initial tee time which I was happy about but I was very disappointed that when I checked in the pro shop failed to let me know that they would have a high school match starting on the back 9 .. pace of play was perfect but once we got to the 13th hole we caught the high school match and ended up waiting 35 minutes before being able to tee off and after finishing number 13 we decided to try and jump ahead but were not able to due so , we noticed that they were backed up 14-18 with the high school matches going on .. so was not about to play the remainder of the course . So missed out on holes 14-18 .. Was pretty upset about that seeing that I paid for a full round of golf .. if the pro shop would have gave me a heads up I would have felt different but at the same time I feel that they knew about the high school matches, obviously so why allow golfers to go out at the same time that match were to start .

My wife & I played wind was gusty but only really affected a couple tee shots. Course was in good condition. Challenging greens were very fast & a lot of break. We had a great time, really enjoyed the course. Some scenic holes.

Course played really slow it was 5 hours to play and we had a twosome. We were supposed to be paired up with another twosome but they showed up with three players so we went by ourselves. The grass was thin in the fairways and produced a lot of thin lies.

pace of play is too slow and not enforced - never saw a marshall. always backed up and start time is later than advertised. hand out some divot tools and teach people how to use them on the greens. covered in ball marks. tee boxes need grass and work. bunkers need some help. remind people how to use a rake.

They allow golfers to walk this course and the pace of play was horrendous. The marshals just drive by not saying a word. 5 hours of torture.

Relative to the other courses and value-wise, I think if you can get this on a hot deal it’s worth it. On top of that my wife got a hole-in-one on #17, so that was pretty awesome :-)
