About
Gripping it and ripping it may be in vogue, but course architect team Brian Curley and Lee Schmidt are not going to let that be the extend of your strategy at Siena Golf Club.
This Las Vegas course is about shot-making more than bombing away. Siena's 97 pot bunkers are arranged to force frequent strategic decisions. Sometimes discretion is the better part of scorecard valor at Siena.
Hooking the ball every which way is paid for dearly at Siena. It's best to go with the clubs you can hit reasonably straight and give up a little distance.
Views of the surrounding mountains are complemented by six different water bodies, including Lake Siena. You'll be strategizing in some striking scenery.
"I don't think you'll come away impressed with this course," marketing director Mick Toscano said. "I think you'll come away awestruck."

Slowest Club Ever
Had a 1:16pm tee time, our group of 3 got through 13 holes before the sun went down at 5pm because of all the waiting. Huge waste of money. Very slow and frustrating day. They double or triple booked he tee times. The staff was also very rude.

Good value
We played after the course fairways had been cross cut and reseeded. This is understandable however this should be shared prior to arrival. My guess is the course conditions are much better after they heal. The greens were in great shape. Likely would have given more starts on a normal day for them.

Rough
This course was in horrible condition and not even close to the online representation
$59 value at best

Beautiful weather for a round of golf.
Coarse was in good condition and the greens rolled great. 4 birdies with two chip ins to save pars. Pace of play was good.

No value for the money
Course was very rough in this condition for price point and should have been noted.
Cart service happened on hold two, not sure why so soon then never saw her again.
Pace of play well.. it took us 2 hours to get to hole 6.
Bathrooms on hole five were atrocious, not clean very rough.
Geese poop on almost every hole And birds everywhere .
Not sure about the last nine holes because I’m not playing a 6 hour golf day in October.

Really like this course, but the staff needs to be more friendly. Also, pace of play is always slow here. They need a marshal. It shouldn't take 6 hours to finish a round, but it quite often does here.

Disappointing
I play here often. This was my first bad experience. The course was overbooked. So much so that there weren't enough golf carts available.
My tee time was delayed, and we ran into nightfall before finishing the round.
Not good.

Reasonably priced value for non-residents
Although I really dislike the huge difference in price for non-residents, this was a nice course to play in this area of town. The course offered challenge with nice green complexes. Scoring opportunities are there. Playing a second time will be good.

Poor Condition
We were excited to play the course because the layout seemed fun but after we teed off in the first tee, the fairways, tee boxes and the rough were in horrible condition. The only decent part of the course were the greens.
Terrible
Course was in terrible shape not worth $10.00 they should pay you to play the course. 6 hour plus round wasn’t hold they had a scramble shotgun before we teed off. Wouldn’t have mattered course is UNPLAYABLE. DON’T waste your money. Emailed the director of golf thinking he may try and make it right but he emailed back and said we could have bought you a beer or cup of coffee! Really what a joke.

Not a great value / Overpriced for product they deliver
Not a good value for the price charged. Fairways were below average, Green conditions were good. In any other market the course would be a $45.00 round with cart. Much hype for limited value. GPS did not work on our cart.
