About
Legacy Golf Club sits on 28 acres of Dwight B. Heard's turn-of-the-20th-century ranch, home to 1902 silos that decorate the 18th fairway - once the tallest manmade things in Maricopa County. More history is on the first tee, in the Sierra Vista House which counts among its early-1900s visitors Theodore Roosevelt and Pancho Villa.
Gary Panks designed the golf course at the Legacy Golf Club, giving it lush fairways, strategic hazards and manicured greens to test all golfers. Native flora grows from the landscape, and the club's elevation offers a vista of Camelback Mountain, Squaw Peak and the skyline of Phoenix.

Great Time
Free range balls, carts with GPS. Pace of play was incredible.
Great afternoon cost value.
Very nice course, in conditions, atmosphere, and layout. Some long par-4s (for me anyway), bunkering is fairly severe with steep sides. Well worth the $60 + tax/fees - in fact, it was a smoking deal for Phoenix winter rates.
Pace of Play
Only issue was pace of play, we were only able to get 17 holes in after a 140 tee time, had it not been for the foursome 2 groups ahead, 8 more patrons would have finished and gone into the clubhouse to eat and drink our sad scores away. As it was we all left.
A marshall could have easily, moved things along, bute never a marshall.

Great course. Conditions are always excellent. Great practice area. Cannot wait to play again!
Every year...
My go-to starter course for my semi-annual Phoenix trips. Good value, nice folks work here, fairways are lush. Green are solid...even given the numerous unrepairable ball marks...which isn't their fault of course. Always enjoy my rounds here...positive vibes from me!
Great Shot Maker Course
Great layout. Always enjoy playing the course. Somewhat tight fairways, will take the driver out of the long hitters hands.
Great layout and conditions
First time playing the is course and I love the driving range along with the putting and chipping green. The starter named Tim was polite and professional when I spoke to him about the course. Plate the round with three others and enjoyed the round. Great course and conditions to play with great lies on the fairway. Greens were big enough and smooth. Speeding greens were pretty good especially with down grain and down hill. I definitely recommend this course to friend when they come to Phoenix.
Good course needs shorter grass
Nice holes on this course, shorter course being it’s a resort course. First hole and tee box is beautiful surround by water and fountains. Course was green but it was one of the slowest greens I have ever putted on. Sooooo slow and too long of grass. Tee box’s too tall grass. Overall good course.

Would definitely play here again. Staff were very helpful and the layout and conditioning were very good.
