About
Legacy Golf Club sits on 28 acres of Dwight B. Heard's turn-of-the-20th-century ranch, home to 1902 silos that decorate the 18th fairway - once the tallest manmade things in Maricopa County. More history is on the first tee, in the Sierra Vista House which counts among its early-1900s visitors Theodore Roosevelt and Pancho Villa.
Gary Panks designed the golf course at the Legacy Golf Club, giving it lush fairways, strategic hazards and manicured greens to test all golfers. Native flora grows from the landscape, and the club's elevation offers a vista of Camelback Mountain, Squaw Peak and the skyline of Phoenix.

Spring Break Golf
Played with my son in the morning. Course was in great shape. The only complaint would be bunker sand. Too much in some bunkers and soft. Not compact, fine sand so it was a challenge gauging green side bunker shots. Pace of play was fine. I think we finished in 4:15. Not bad for peak season. Ranger was out and at one time came to us and mentioned he asked the group in front to pick up the pace. They did and we moved along pretty good after that.
Great shape but Still Overpriced
I get the new price point in the area, but need to get a deal to justify the cost. I’m great shape as it has been every time I’ve played it and pace was better than usual. (4:15). No spectacular holes and wide fairways with greens that are divided into quadrants but relatively flat around the hole. Had a great day with friends, and if I can find a deal will be back.

Great practice facility. Great staff. Great layout. Great condtions esp.the geens . They were fast and true.
Bonus was got to tee off early and played in 4.10
Got paired with 3 people who were great fun to playwith
Highly recommend this course if the price is right. Like all Az tracks its rack rate is extremely inflated

Nice course and friendly, helpful staff. Bunkers are super deep and difficult. They need more carts.
