About
Legacy Golf Club sits on 28 acres of Dwight B. Heard's turn-of-the-20th-century ranch, home to 1902 silos that decorate the 18th fairway - once the tallest manmade things in Maricopa County. More history is on the first tee, in the Sierra Vista House which counts among its early-1900s visitors Theodore Roosevelt and Pancho Villa.
Gary Panks designed the golf course at the Legacy Golf Club, giving it lush fairways, strategic hazards and manicured greens to test all golfers. Native flora grows from the landscape, and the club's elevation offers a vista of Camelback Mountain, Squaw Peak and the skyline of Phoenix.

Gem of a course
We’ll maintained , great greens, great views, gps and Bluetooth carts a plus
Nice Layout
Loved the course. Not sure if Legacy is crowding the tee times or if it's just the usual ignorant golfers who think they are the only ones on the course, but the round was 4:40. That is nuts.
Legacy is a old standby
If you come to Arizona to golf, you must play Legacy once. It has everything you want on a golf course. Plenty of distance from the back tees. It is not a desert-target golf course. It is more like a combo resort with trees and lots of deep bunkers like a professional country club. The greens roll nicely and the pins can be tricky in placement. The carts are new with GPS onboard. The course is in perfect shape right now. Enjoy. Nice practice facility as well as a restaurant inside next to the golf shop. Everything is very convenient.
Pricey
No Junior rates which is a bit crazy even at the twilight gold hour - cart staff were awesome - pro shop staff 50/50
Fun course to play
Great course and value
The only issue we had was the condition of the greens. Every one had multiple ball marks and bald spots.

Week of golf
Great start to our week in the desert. Challenging layout but yet forgiving . With heavy watering a few more ball washers would be nice.

Legacy Golf Club
Enjoyed the round. Complimentary range balls was an added bonus. Pace of play was good. Course was a little soggy in spots--half my shots had mud on the ball. Staff was courteous.
Only negative was arrived at 11:30a for a 12:20p tee time...no carts were available. Didn't get a cart until 12:10p and that was a challenge--did a lot of walking carrying my clubs until this point. Very disorganized there from parking lot to tee. Starter (JoJo) was a good guy.
