North Shore Golf Course
About
The 18-hole North Shore Golf Club in Orlando, Florida is a semi-private golf course that opened in 2001. The course slides around lakes and wetlands, and then detours through a grove of large ancient oak trees before re-emerging into the clear at the finish. It has two distinct nines converging to form one remarkable 18-hole layout. Begin your round on the Modern nine, winding through native wetlands and Florida's natural topography. The Classic nine is carved through a grove of 100-year old oak trees, creating an enjoyably unique setting for your finishing holes. North Shore Golf Club is located less than 10 minutes from Orlando International Airport and offers a complete practice facility and world-class instruction.

#13 fairway, long and wide. Ignore the brown grass in the foreground - the fairways are lush enough to hit fairway woods on the par 5s with ease. Photo submitted by Buckleahy on 02/23/2013

Solid
Simple review:
Greens 9/10
Fairways 9/10
Tee boxes 6/10
Dissapointing
The pace of play was so slow on th back 9 we didn't pay the last 4 holes, I don't think we were missing much as the course was not in good shape.
Golf course is a very good test.
I find NorthShore a very good test of golf. Worth coming early to take advantage of the fine practice facilities. Even with the lack of rain course is in very good condition with healthy greens, tee boxes, and fairways.
Cool layout I never tire of and I’ve played the course many times. Robbie is a great pro and the staff are friendly.
Solid Choice
Course is in great shape - always well maintained, from tee to green and surrounding areas. Friendly staff, beverage cart in operation during the week, good practice area and a fun layout. Definitely worth playing
Very Good Conditions
Course in very good shape considering the lack of rain over the last 45 days. Greens rolled nicely. Pace of play was great early in the morning.
The course needs lots of improvement
The range looks like a horse field and there are lots of the rude people due to crazy and uncontrolled growing in the area. Many people starts on the hole 10 causing delay the players that started on the hole 1.
Hidden Gem
This course is a must play every time I visit Central FL. Tucked away over near MCO, you can’t miss with a round here. Outside of the five some of 15+ handicappers playing on Saturday morning as if it were Saturday at the Maters, I enjoy every round I’ve ever played here.
Beautiful course
The course was absolutely stunning. A few greens had some spots under repair around the edges but nothing that’s going to impact your round. The only reason I cannot give this course 5 stars is not having a single water fountain on property. That almost felt illegal today in this Florida heat lol. There are a few bathrooms out on the course that you can see the water fountains were removed. Highly recommend putting those back it. Do yourself a favor and bring extra water! Other than that this course was awesome. Near Ace on 6 was nice too!
Enjoyed this round
I hadn’t played here in about a year, the reviews were a bit negative. All in all, I thought the course was in great shape. There were a few greens that had some brown areas and some had some weeds coming in. They need to be rolled because they ran slow. Also the bunkers need sand and work.
But I will play here again, but only if the prices come down to $50 or so during the summer.
Just go play it
North Shore is currently in the best shape it’s been in (maybe) since it opened. The greens had been plugged and sanded in slightly bad areas around the edges. Other than that, the course is covered in bright green turf.
I play $40-60 courses all over Orlando and this was the best conditioned course I’ve been on this year.
North Shore
We had not played here before but will definitely go back. Staff were very friendly from the outset. The Course is challenging from the back tees, my wife is a learner so played off the front tees but stir enjoyed the day. Everyone we met on course was friendly and courteous.
Best bang for your buck
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the greens need just a little bit of help. Some fungus on the edges and small dirt spots. Did not affect my game at all. The bartender is nice, no wait on any hole and the rest of the course is in fantastic shape. You can tell someone here cares about what they do
