Not worth it right now
The course is in very tough shape. The excess water killed most of the grass off. Usually not a bad course to okay. But not right now.
Great Starter
The starter was Tom today. Very pleasant, professional, and personable. He managed the problems of the 2 hour frost delay with great patience and skill. He's an asset.

Pace of play
Tee time was 12:30 and I was told upon arrival the delay would be at least 2 hours to tee off.
Nothing done by staff to remedy the frost delay from the AM.
Tee off guys from different holes, or at the very least hole 10. Poor course management from my opinion.
Thank you for taking the time and sharing your experience. Sunday began with a 3-hour frost delay that we managed to get down to 2-hours by midday. While I understand your frustration with having to wait the additional time, trying to start groups on different holes and/or squeezing groups off #10 creates greater problems. With that being said, we will continue to provide the best service we can and reevaluate different solutions to challenges that occur daily. Thank you playing and we hope you have a great golfing season.
Good round of golf

Greta Layout that needs sand!
Foe February golf, the course was great with the exception of the bunkers. Staff had warned us that they were not playable and they were correct. Each was a minni lake. Hopefully this Spring they will take care of the drainage issues and replace the mud with sand.
Looking forward to a May round of golf.

For it being February I was blown away how great the course looked. Fairways and greens were amazing and played great. Bunkers do need some work but I’m sure come spring they’ll look fine. Overall for the price and difficulty I’d give it a solid 8/10

Great course w/few issues
The staff is great and the course offers easy play with a few challenges... equipped with a driving range and practice green there is plenty of reasons to show up early to warm up...
while the fairways and greens are in great shape, the bunkers and cart paths are in need of major repairs...
if you are looking for a course that is fun, challenging, priced right, and has some of the best views in the county this is the one to try...

Very enjoyable!
There were a couple of negative reviews but I decided to go and play this course anyway, they had a great hot deal price so I took it. First impressions, the tee boxes are in great shape! Green and lush, the fairways are a little thin but they're Bermuda and going dormant this time of year. The greens we're good, still a little sandy but rolled smoothly, they actually had some pretty tough pin placements that made you think about when to attack and when to play to the middle. The course had a great variety of holes, used all my clubs in the bag and that's rare. I had a great seasoned cheeseburger and cold draft beer at the grill. Went to the pro shop and Robert was awesome, bought some sweet shwag gear. I will most certainly go back and play this course again!

Nice course
Very nice course, excellent value and in great condition. This was my first time playing the course and I will return. There are a few blind shots and if you go off into the rough you can lose your ball very easily. Great variety in hole lay-outs.
Solid course with nice greens
Course was pretty nice with really well-rolling greens. Unfortunately the rough and fairway had some burnout spots. The bunkers are currently under renovation as well. The layout is scenic but the back 9 has numerous blind tee shots with short rough that slopes into trees. It’s certainly a course easier to play once you’ve played once. The staff and greens made up for that though
Friendly people and the course is in great condition
Checking in was easy. The course Marshall was friendly and informative. Everyone involved with the golf side of the course was amazing. No beer cart and the snack bar lady didn’t seem to want our business at 3:30 - guess she was done for the day. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were outstanding. Most of the bunkers were muddy so we were told to take a drop out of them - hopefully that is not always the case. I would go back again but bring my own food and beverages since they don’t seem to want to sell what they stock.

Thank you for taking the time and reviewing our golf course. Forest Greens is a Bermuda grass golf course that goes dormant in the wintertime. The fairways (and some rough) often look like they have died off. Our fairways will start to turn green again once we have sustained warmer weather. The desired temperatures that move us out of dormancy usually occur in late April/early May. We’re glad you played the course and hope to see you soon.
