Forest Greens Golf Club

The fairways were some of the worst I’ve ever seen. Greens were pretty good and bunkers need some work. A lil TLC and it could be one of the best courses in the area.

The course is in great shape and moving great but it would be nice if they can offer some food on the turn soon.

The fairways are, in some places, dirt. Lots of people do not fix ball marks on greens. I love the layout of the course, but the fairways need LOTS of treatment. They are BAD.

Course was challenging, but their fairways have not been watered in a long time. Was liking hitting off of concrete. Greens and around the green was nice and well maintained. Pace of play was horrible.

I have played Forest Greens several times and it always meets or exceeds my expectations. Here you will pay a fair price and receive premium conditions and find yourself anxious to plat there again because of the love which is put into making it one of the best rounds you will play.

I don't work there or have any friends who work there, it is just a nicely maintained course year round with a nice degree of difficulty. I live by reviews and want others to know that this course is well worth your time and money.

So I used to play Forest Greens all the time for HS golf, and it was always one of my least favorite courses because of the management and course condition. That being said, I’m not sure if the course is under new management or what, but I have never felt more welcomed at a golf course than today. Immediately upon arrival, someone (I’m assuming the manager or head pro) took care of everything I needed without me having to even ask. The course is also in beautiful shape compared to how it was when I played it for HS golf a couple years ago. Forest Greens has had a HUGE glow up and I definitely plan on coming back now that I know that.

Great course, the starters are very friendly and informative. They do a fantastic job of spacing tee times. As a single it's always a struggle to find a place where I can ride by myself in these times. They let me which is great and safe. Because of that reason I try to play there once a week. Plus they have a grass range!!

Really enjoyed this course. Offered challenges for every level of golfer. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Love this hidden gem tucked in the middle of the woods. Definitely will be playing it again.

Ask my title states, the greens were really good. None of the bunkers had sand so there must be something going on with that. The fairways and rough were adequate but looked a little crusty. Overall, the value and amazing pace of play the day I played are the reason I am giving four stars this time.

Staff was nonexistent. No scorecards, no Marshall’s. No give a crap. Took my money and then really didn’t give a care about anything else. Had to ask multiple times about everything from the word go when I got there. Couldn’t get any help on any questions I had without repeated questions. Never playing here again with that lack of service.

Enjoyed playing this course near Quantico. Staff was friendly and helpful and the course was in very good shape. Given the Covid19 limitations it was a great round of golf.

This course is in very good condition. The Greens as always are good and the fairways are good for this time of the year and with the limited play. I would rate higher if not for a few of the bunkers which have no sand but hardpan. Forest Greens is one of my favorite courses.
