Great public course
This is my favorite public course in the area. I play here often but this is my first review. The course is in great shape and the carts are brand new. Please tell Prince William golf course to follow your lead. The restaurant is fantastic at the turn and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend this course. Best value in the area.

Absolutely best value course in the northern Virginia
This place has the best bang for your buck. The practice facilities are good, staff and pro shop are great, restaurant is awesome. Course layout is challenging and includes every shot. Greens Arnt lighting fast or super challenging but well maintained and in good condition. Would highly recommend

Nice golf on a hot day!
Been a few years since last played the course but despite the hot summer day, liked playing the course with a lot of level changes, i.e. uphill , downhill, quite a challenge if used to fairly flat courses. Would come back if given a good weekend tee time.

Narrow and challenging
I recently had the opportunity to play at Forest Green golf course and I must say, I was impressed. The course is narrow and challenging, which really appealed to my competitive nature.
I particularly loved the layout of the course. Each hole presented a new and interesting challenge, with strategically placed bunkers and water hazards. The greens were in great condition and rolled true, making for a satisfying putting experience.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my round at Forest Green and would highly recommend it to any golfer looking for a fun and challenging course to play. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Great Layout.
Gently rolling, wide fairways, well maintained sand traps and greens. No nearby houses so it feels remote. Great value for the dollar.

Slow play
I only played 13 holes because of the group In front of me playing.

Very Good Right Now
I've played here numerous times over the years. The greens are in very good condition as well as a number of bunkers have been updated. The fairways are always firm here but the grass has come in and I got good lies almost all the time. I will definitely play here again soon.

Enjoyable outing
Today outing was very enjoyable. The staff was great and courteous and helpful. The course was in great condition and the green were in great condition. The temperature was just right with a slow breeze here and there and had a great game.

Pretty and challenging course, horrible pacing
Anytime you play golf on a Sunday morning, you do expect some pacing challenges. However, having to wait to hit at every shot is frustrating and ruins any hope of developing consistency in your game. The staff is super friendly, and indicated that there was just nowhere to go. However, when I eventually gave up after the 14th hole (my partner left after 10), I discovered that there was literally nobody on the 17 fairway yet or anywhere on the 18th hole. Tells me that course management needed to be done when things were all bottled up all day. It was a shame, as the course is nicely designed, challenging, and a pretty course.
