Brooksville Country Club offers a uniquely scenic experience with a rolling landscape covered with live oaks and remnants of the abandoned limestone mine still present throughout. The surroundings are unlike any other golf courses in central Florida, which has made it popular amongst both locals and visitors. Besides the beautiful scenery, the terrain provides dramatic elevation changes that make each hole unique. The traditional layout features contoured, rolling fairways and four memorable holes that play along and through a century-old quarry. The golf course starts out gently but becomes progressively more challenging as you head towards the back nine, which was designed by Bobby Weed. It is a layout that demands precision and rewards skillful shotmaking. In addition to the unique setting and challenging design, Brooksville Country Club also boasts immaculately conditioned fairways and greens.

Needs work

This could be a great golf course, layout is great, big trees interesting hole layouts, So many great holes on this course, but needs some serious TLC and probably some funds.. Greens are beat up, fairways are ok, but just off the fairway is lots of areas without grass. Carts are awful, Bathrooms are in need of a makeover, Bar and restaurant are nice though. Be a great course if they had the money to fix the paths, the carts, the greens, and the bunkers. Pro shop staff are all super nice…I live near here, so I’m hoping they get what that need to make this course as good as it could be…. All that said… most important to me is the hole layouts and this course has great layout so I love it..

Great Value!

Staff is always friendly, helpful, and courteous at Brooksville CC.

New starter is a little bit to blunt and seems to have brought a demeanor from somewhere different than this environment. May need to adapt to this culture. Incorporate some southern hospitality.

Nice set, not a difficult course, but when you get to the back nine they have some pretty cool holes. Fun course to play and pace was perfect. For the price it was a great course

Did not see a course Marshall the whole 18.

Extremely slow behind a very poor playing foursome who were in the tress most of the time. Another group 3 holes ahead with 5 persons playing together.the back nine. Holes is what makes this course unique.

Haven't played here in a while due to bad reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. Greens were ok, speed consistent, a couple had a few rough spots. Grass in the rough was cut. Lost a couple balls due to bad swings, not course conditions. Some traps were soft, others like hardpan. The quarry holes are always a treat. That being said, I'm going back. And soon.

A pleasant surprise. The rough has been cut, most of the greens were in good shape. Some bunkers soft, others rock hard. Looks good with a little rye grass. My round was a deal at under $30. I got lucky.

Unique layout

This course reminds me of a northern Michigan course, not your typical Florida flat course. Greens were fast and in pretty good condition. However, the bunkers could use some attention. And the cart paths are treacherous! Overall it is an adequate course for the price.

Horrible greens

The greens were cut so low it was like putting on glass. In addition pin positions were extremely difficult with some on the side of slopes. Not a fun day at all.
