Brooksville Country Club offers a uniquely scenic experience with a rolling landscape covered with live oaks and remnants of the abandoned limestone mine still present throughout. The surroundings are unlike any other golf courses in central Florida, which has made it popular amongst both locals and visitors. Besides the beautiful scenery, the terrain provides dramatic elevation changes that make each hole unique. The traditional layout features contoured, rolling fairways and four memorable holes that play along and through a century-old quarry. The golf course starts out gently but becomes progressively more challenging as you head towards the back nine, which was designed by Bobby Weed. It is a layout that demands precision and rewards skillful shotmaking. In addition to the unique setting and challenging design, Brooksville Country Club also boasts immaculately conditioned fairways and greens.

For the money it was fun

The course isn’t in the same shape it was years ago, but it still has some very interesting holes. I would say the conditions for greens were ok many had sand on them but they all putted ok.The fairways had some grass some places, but typical winter conditions the same with the tees. for the price, we had a good time.

Course is below average condition. Tee boxs, bunkers and fairways needs improvement. Greens are over sanded and very hard. Carts are very outdated and bad shape.

Course is terrible conditions

Greens are terrible, pace of play is slow, tee boxes are bad.

There’s a couple good holes on the back 9 but that’s all this course has going for it. I would not recommend this course

Would recommend had a great day and very challenging course. Conditions were ok greens were quick. Back 9 was a fun layout and will play again. Get your bucket of beer at the clubhouse.

Not too bad

Course is in decent, not great, condition. Lots of brown in the fairways and greens. The course I normally play on in winter over seeds with winter grass and waters daily and it stays green. It does not appear BCC does this. The layout, staff, and price are all very good. I’ll go back closer to spring and hope for greener conditions.

This could be a great golf course, layout is great, big trees interesting hole layouts, So many great holes on this course, but needs some serious TLC and probably some funds.. Greens are beat up, fairways are ok, but just off the fairway is lots of areas without grass. Carts are awful, Bathrooms are in need of a makeover, Bar and restaurant are nice though. Be a great course if they had the money to fix the paths, the carts, the greens, and the bunkers. Pro shop staff are all super nice…I live near here, so I’m hoping they get what that need to make this course as good as it could be…. All that said… most important to me is the hole layouts and this course has great layout so I love it..

Great Value!

Staff is always friendly, helpful, and courteous at Brooksville CC.

New starter is a little bit to blunt and seems to have brought a demeanor from somewhere different than this environment. May need to adapt to this culture. Incorporate some southern hospitality.
