Brooksville Country Club offers a uniquely scenic experience with a rolling landscape covered with live oaks and remnants of the abandoned limestone mine still present throughout. The surroundings are unlike any other golf courses in central Florida, which has made it popular amongst both locals and visitors. Besides the beautiful scenery, the terrain provides dramatic elevation changes that make each hole unique. The traditional layout features contoured, rolling fairways and four memorable holes that play along and through a century-old quarry. The golf course starts out gently but becomes progressively more challenging as you head towards the back nine, which was designed by Bobby Weed. It is a layout that demands precision and rewards skillful shotmaking. In addition to the unique setting and challenging design, Brooksville Country Club also boasts immaculately conditioned fairways and greens.

Love the course and layout. Greens need work. Fairways are in good shape. Tee boxes are ok. Will keep coming back because it’s a fun course to play. Especially the back 9. Greens were really my only complaint. Get them good please.

Good course, terrible condition

Price when booked we thought was exceptional but w got what we paid for.

The staff were all friendly and helpful.

The front 9 has always been standard golf course layout but the back 9 is well designed and fun to play.

The course condition was atrocious, with dry fairways and a lack of grass but the greens were rough, and had so many large dead spots it was difficult to putt through the dirt areas. We had heard they were spending money on the club and we saw lots of people on pickleball courts so I still have hope they will do something to the course because it is in need of a refresh.

Fun back nine

Front nine is straightforward and playable. Back nine has some dramatic changes with the quarry holes. Makes for a good experience.

Fairways okay but grass is sparce. Greens moderately slow, several have poor grass. Needs some TLC.

Everyone NEEDS to play this course. Love taking first timers to this course. The WOW effect is GREAT.

I've found that you need more club than the distance would dictate, as many holes may start downhill, but end uphill to the greens.
