Brooksville Country Club

Although the new owners efforts to improve the facility are showing (I. e. Restaurant and new pickle ball courts) The golf course has a long way to go. Efforts there have begun but the course condition is fair at best. Sparse grass in fairways, most greens are in terrible shape (some with many bare, sandy areas where grass is void and that I is the case on many teeing areas as well. Many tees need to be leveled and sodded as they are bare as well as being uneven/not flat with mounds all over them . The saving grace for the golfcourse is the unique, for Florida, holes around the quarry area, including tee boxes with elevations uncommon for Florida. Lots of potential but needs a lot of work done on the course. Hopefully the improvements will come to be, with time…

I really enjoyed playing at Brooksville Country Club. The weather was nice and the course was in really good shape...especially the greens. The majority of the greens were in excellent shape. I started around 3:30 pm and got through 15 holes before it got a little too dark for me, and backups ahead of me that would not have allowed all 18 holes. At most times, pace of play was very good until hole 12 where the pace slowed down and there were backups. My scores were pretty decent with 64 thru 15 with birdies on 7 and 12. But overall, I really enjoyed my afternoon at BCC and I look forward to the next time I'm able to play there. And yes, I would recommend this course to play!!

Love the Back 9 of this course. Rest of the course is fair and challenging. Disappointed in condition of several greens, especially, #18 was unplayable and a bad note to end an otherwise enjoyable round.

Brookside should be embarrassed calling this a country club golf course. Golfpass is just as guilty offering this golf course

First time! Thoroughly enjoyed! Nice length for a 70 year old from 6000 yards. Can be difficult. Just what you would want. Great shape, no complaints. Back side...fun, fun, fun! Greens fast; traps raked. Quarry golf! Will be back with this price, no brainer! A beauty! Your friends would enjoy! Especially if you can bring them down from the north. I have a 9.7 index. Shot 93. Now that I know the layout, will enjoy a serious game.

A nice place with inexpensive green fees. A nice layout with a few spectacular looking holes on the back nine. The greens , in winter condition, were in fair to poor condition.

Course was in good shape and the greens were pretty consistent. There were a few spots on some (like 18), but improving and NOT a reason to not play and the greens held nicely. It was 83-85 degrees out and there were a lot of folks out playing , but the pace was great. Played with another single and we never waited to hit our next shots which is the optimal pace.

Drove up from St. Pete to see the elevation shots. They are beautiful to look at but all the greens are in really tough shape.

Always great staff at Brooksville. Great rate and pace of play. However greens were very patchy and fairways were not good.
