Brooksville Country Club offers a uniquely scenic experience with a rolling landscape covered with live oaks and remnants of the abandoned limestone mine still present throughout. The surroundings are unlike any other golf courses in central Florida, which has made it popular amongst both locals and visitors. Besides the beautiful scenery, the terrain provides dramatic elevation changes that make each hole unique. The traditional layout features contoured, rolling fairways and four memorable holes that play along and through a century-old quarry. The golf course starts out gently but becomes progressively more challenging as you head towards the back nine, which was designed by Bobby Weed. It is a layout that demands precision and rewards skillful shotmaking. In addition to the unique setting and challenging design, Brooksville Country Club also boasts immaculately conditioned fairways and greens.

Good Value for money but B- Overall

I can’t complain about $50 for 18 holes and 6,500 yards of golf. I have struggled to find decent public golf courses near Spring Hill. Florida. Brooksville checks several boxes. Used every club in the bag including fairway woods. Don’t get discouraged on front nine, the back nine is far superior and includes some quality golf holes. Pace of play was excellent (3 hours and 40 minutes for 18). It is nothing glamorous but it got the job done for us when we were displaced from Timber Pines for the day. Greens were inconsistent but they held well hit irons and rolled reasonably well.

Back Nine Surprise!

The front nine holes were fine. The back nine had absolutely awesome, spectacular layouts with lots of elevation. Front and back were like different courses.

Beautiful setting throughout front and back with old, gorgeous trees lining the fairways.

Some tee boxes were patchy.

Highly recommend!

Too expensive for conditions

Theyve done a nice start to trimming over hanging branches. But still not much actual grass. Some greens just awful especially 18. Overall no way should be near a $50. round

Beautiful back 9

Course is unusual in that most holes have elavation changes on almost every hole. The back 9 is where it is really beautiful and very challenging with it being in the heart of the former quarry. The tee boxes and fairways were in great shape. A few of the greens had damage to them but most were fine.

Poor conditions

One of the poorest ,maintained course I have played/ Golf Pass should remove it from there site. Fairways, greens and rough are atrocious. Better play in a cow pasture

Very dry

1st time here, front 10 holes less challenging, back 8 holes are fun and challenging.

Course is very dry, doesn't seem to be any watering that is applied to fairways and greens.

If you miss the fairway your ball will roll a long way and get you in trouble with trees very easily. Greens are fair, some with double tiers but do roll pretty consistently. The greens in the shade on back nine need work.

Personally no need to return
