Brooksville Country Club

Drove up from St. Pete to see the elevation shots. They are beautiful to look at but all the greens are in really tough shape.

Always great staff at Brooksville. Great rate and pace of play. However greens were very patchy and fairways were not good.

Two very different nines.both enjoyable accuracy is required on the front and a bombers paradise on the back.. too bad I don't have either..lol. had a great time though

Overall it was an enjoyable round of golf. Course conditions were average for Florida winter with not a ton of grass in the fairway and rough but playable. The greens are very firm and bumpy but playable. The quarry holes on the back nine are spectacular and unlike most Florida courses. The restaurant is open again and they installed pickleball courts, looks like money was invested but the course is the same as last year.

This course is a very solid course for sure. Would definitely come back don’t get me wrong. But the front nine is pretty bad in my opinion. All holes are right next to eachother bunched up. It’s fairly easy to hit the ball in another fairway. Feels like they had to squeeze the front nine in. Course conditions were also not very good on front. Pretty easy to have a bad lie due to ditches and holes in the fairway. Greens were fairly decent. Back nine layout is phenomenal. Course conditions also get much better all around. They definitely care most about the quarry holes and that’s what you pay for. Personally I think some other courses in the area are better worth this price point. Pace of play was pretty slow. I went on a Monday at 11am and a foursome was in front of me and wouldn’t let me (a solo) play through. Not very busy on this day but kind of gloomy and that foursome really slowed me down and threw off rhythm. Probably just that group tho.

Fairways sparse in some areas, greens rough shape, not bad for the money

This was my 2nd time playing this course. It is very well kept, Marshall was courteous, and the golf course itself was beautiful. The 4 quarry holes are amazing and something you will not often see in Florida. A true pkeasure.

Most of the greens had patches of no grass. The 18th green was the worst. It seems like the winter grass did not grow everywhere

We played this course on a weekday and the pace of play was good. The Front 9 were a little boring but the Back 9 were very interesting. Course conditions were variable, some of the fairways and greens needed some work. The Pro Shop needs some renovations, however the price was very reasonable so might play the course again.

Nice course with the huge Live Oak. The fairways are in decent shape but the greens are in good shape and fast. The back nine is like

playing on a different course with changes in

elevation and blind shots. This was my first at

Brooksville and I will play the back nine differently when I come back. Worth the time to play and enjoy.

Played here two months and thought the course would be in better condition. Been traveling all over North/West Florida and so many courses have gone in the wrong direction.
