About
Brooksville Country Club offers a uniquely scenic experience with a rolling landscape covered with live oaks and remnants of the abandoned limestone mine still present throughout. The surroundings are unlike any other golf courses in central Florida, which has made it popular amongst both locals and visitors. Besides the beautiful scenery, the terrain provides dramatic elevation changes that make each hole unique. The traditional layout features contoured, rolling fairways and four memorable holes that play along and through a century-old quarry. The golf course starts out gently but becomes progressively more challenging as you head towards the back nine, which was designed by Bobby Weed. It is a layout that demands precision and rewards skillful shotmaking. In addition to the unique setting and challenging design, Brooksville Country Club also boasts immaculately conditioned fairways and greens.

Golfer Reviews
Very nice course I play this course about 30 or 40 times a year
This course is always in great shape it’s very nice because it is like playing two different courses one side is a tree lined course the other side is very hilly and some target course on a couple holes fun
Poor Conditions
The front nine was completely overgrown. I have played this course over 10 times, and the course has always been in really good shape. Not sure what happened this time, but the course in its entirety was in really bad shape. Hope they get it together in the future.
Interesting Course
Staff here are always very friendly. Front nine is ordinary, but enjoyable. Back nine is more interesting with four holes holes around the old quarry. Good value. I would recommend this course.
Average course (Country Club because course is in the country.hahahaha)
Course was in decent shape just a few spotty areas on a few greens.
Good value
Really a fun course
All about the quarry holes, I'd rather they flip the nines and get them holes in first especially if you play here in the summer. The course was in very very good overall condition, good luck finding your ball though if you miss the fairways. My only complaint is that the proshop and grill were both closed/locked around 430p, my son and I teed off at 230p (95+ degrees), pretty much had the course to ourselves, we were craving a cold drink and something to snack on at the turn AND the doors were locked. It made the back 9 all the tougher to play
Embarrassing
Had a 7:10am Tee time…said when I got there “they” don’t take cash til 8am? How convenient management. Some people are still old school. Exact or not that’s ridiculous and I’ve never been to a golf course that doesn’t take cash in the morning. Turning down money with a parking lot and fairways like that? Really just not impressed. Can’t see how this place gets more then 1 star
is there a more fun course ?
Brooksville CC is a West Coast favorite and those back 9 holes in the quarry are some (if not) of the best in Florida. Now that the rain has come back to Florida (finally) golf course all over are looking good and Brooksville CC looks lush and green all over .. hooray for water .. fairways are super and the overall course has perked up .. and lots of rain has saved the Golfing in Florida .. best conditions in years .. Brooksville CC is a top 5 must play on the west coast of Florida and right now is the perfect time !!!
Brooksville C.C.
Was a decent course 2 yrs ago, went back last week & it is now a COW PASTURE. Last time for me
Was nice
Played here a few times but not in the last 2 yrs.. It is now a COW PASTURE.. you can lose ur ball in the fairway now. Greens were recently aerated but still no excuse for the high grass on the greens. We had to make a rule that it's an automatic 2 putt once ur on the green. U really had to blast it to get to the hole. Having a true putt was a joke. The fairways were extremely crab grassy & had good size areas of sand traps scattered about which weren't really sand traps. The rough was really ruff & hadn't seen a mower in a while. All in all, NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN..
Down hill
This course used to be one of my favorites. but for some reason it has gone downhill the greens the fairways very poor condition. I would not recommend it to anybody deeply depressed cuz I used to love this course specially the canyon part of it.
Staff was very friendly but definitely short handed. Trying to do to much with too little. At the turn we waited in the pro shop for nearly 20 minutes, waiting to purchase refreshments.
