Brooksville Country Club

The pace was a little slow took us 4.5 hrs to play but the course was in good shape for the lack of rain

I purchased a groupon golf from what I thought was the course. When I made a tee time, Iwas charged 50.00 per round, but the coupon said $29. When I checked in, they wouldn't accept the coupon, even though they were aware of the coupon because the round was paid in advance. I made the tee times from the Brooksville Country Club website. I don't understand why they couldn't refund my money. I was never combative at all, but one of the cashiers was. I will only go back because they didn't accept the coupons for that round. That will probably be the last time. The quarry holes were nice and kind-of kept up. The restaurant has been closed for renovations for over 3 years. Must be doing some job!

This course has always been a favorite thanks to the back 9 layout, the front is good also but some of the greens and tee boxes have seen better days. The starter was rushing us a bit ahead of our tee time in a way that seemed like they were slightly overbooked but i don't envy her job with all the retirees itching to get out ASAP and once we were out on the course the pace of play wasn't bad. definitely plan on going back again either way.

Truth about that course. A couple cool views.. VERY inconsistent. You have hard sand. Two holes later super soft sand. Greens run everywhere from a 7 to a 13 on speed. Multiple greens with over 30% burnt to hard pan dirt. Overpriced unless you get a hotdeal. Even then you’re only paying for the 3 cool holes. Other local course is a better course at lower price range., the advertised photos are very dated as well. Not as pretty as advertised.

It was in good condition for as dry as it has been.

Fun to play; several scenic, challenging holes on great back 9. Super friendly clubhouse staff. A few greens need TLC but overall we liked the course.

Brooksville CC is an interesting course....the front nine is somewhat typical while the back nine is not typical by any means......the "quarry holes" with it's extreme elevation changes are very challenging, especially to a high handicapper....while visually "stunning" several holes on the back are really too difficult for the average golfer, but still worth playing at least once.......

The course is in very poor condition and not properly maintained. There are a lot of dried out areas mainly from poor maintenance and a lack of rain. The bunkers are not suitable for play.

Also, a majority of the greens have burnt out areas.

19th hole needed badly!

Some tee noes need some tlc.overall not bad ...
