Brooksville Country Club

A great golf layout with poor condition. I played there back in October and was pleasantly surprised. However, the course has deteriorated since then. Too bad, the course has great potential.

Challenging lay out for sure. Great course conditions. Only a couple of greens had a couple of bad patches. Tees, fairways and rough in good condition. Very nice practice amenities.

First time to visit Brooksville Country Club but it won't be my last. The front nine seems like a typical course and then you begin the back 9 with the quarry holes that will challenge your abilities and make you 2nd guess your shot selections. Don't be nervous and play to your strengths and you can do it, Hole 17 will make you "sweat" a little but in a good way. Remember it's supposed to be challenging or everyone would be playing. Will go back after retooling my irons some more but the suspense to tame the quarry is there, !

I thought the greens were patchy and fluffy and slow. I’ve played here many times and this was the worst I’ve seen the greens. No cart girl and no water on the front nine. Pace of play was slower than average and didn’t see a ranger. Played here many times and always enjoyed the experience. Maybe just a bad day for the course.

I think this course is very nice I like the back more but both front and back are very tough

The course had just gone through a punched fairway and the greens had recently been sanded. The restaurant was closed.

Good course to play. Tough first few holes due to plugging fairways, but others weren't done yet.

Have played several times in past and would play again.

This is a great course. Back nine is beautiful. Please beware that they are aerating the front and sure to do the back soon. All of the greens are covered in sand so it is difficult to read putts and to get the ball to stop on iron shots. I usually don’t post a review but with it being a drive and a course that people look forward going too, I felt compelled. Look forward to going back in a couple months to play her again.

Disappointed in the upkeep; greens were bumpy, bare spots on the fairways.

Cart paths were non-existent in some places

With the lack of rain the drives were monstrous and the putts were way to fast. By the time I made adjustments to the speed I had lost four strokes. Not to mention they are not flat and significant slopes. Even at the cup the ball will shift left or right. If you are not on in regulation expect to bogey or double bogey depending on your location on the greens. Fun course and very challenging to say the least. Food options are nill. Make sure you eat before or bring something with you. I skipped lunch and tee time was at 2:04pm. At the turn I was starving with nothing to purchase. Love the chipping practice area and driving range. Parking is sketchy due to large trees that are old and if a limb falls goodby vehicle.
