Meadowlark Golf Club in Huntington Beach is a player-friendly layout that is a popular choice amongst locals. Like most classically designed layouts, the course is short and tight but that also makes it easily walkable. The pin placements on the greens can be tricky and there are also some challenging water hazards that come into play on several holes. The golf course will test your short game skills but there are wide, player-friendly fairways that balance the trickier elements. Beware, though, numerous trees on the golf course make many of the tee shots tight and narrow. It is not an overly difficult layout but it is an enjoyable round that players of any skill level will enjoy. Meadowlark also offers affordable rates that make it doubly appealing.

Overall good course.
At some hole there were no hole no.
Fun times
Great day out on the course today. Pace of play could’ve been better, overall fun times.
First time would go back
I liked the course, played from the ladies yellow tees. The fairways are packed tight and parralel so be ready to go into another hole to play ur ball. No cart service but bar was hopping. I feel like the pace was good and we were able to slow down after the turn. Our 4 some, in stroke Play finished in about 5.5 hours. No Marshall either.
Birthday Round
Had a great day and round. Teed off at noon and was a fast and pleasurable round, only had to hold up on 2,7 and 16, other than that we flew through, I couldn’t believe when we were done it was 3:45, that is the best time I ever have had teeing off in the afternoon, oh we were playing a 3 some, so the course was in great shape, greens were true and rolling good, all in all, it was a great day, if you get a chance to play Meadowlark, give it a try, nothing is 100 percent all the time, but hopefully you will have a good round, good luck and hit ‘em long and straight !!
So much potential
Depending on the ocean breeze and how short the fairway is cut this course can play longer than it’s max yardage. What’s really interesting is that despite short 5,600 yards the four par 3’s average over 160 yards with two playing close to 180 into the ocean breeze. The small turtle back greens on these are the most challenging on the course. My biggest issue has to do with the extensive amount of crab grass around the greens and the rock hard bunkers. From what I can tell they do nothing to maintain the traps and with watering and neglect they have become nearly impossible to play.
New management
Golf course conditions have been improved under new management, although some places were soaked wet due to irrigation problem. Ambassadors helped improved pace of play. Staff is friendly and efficient. Keep up the good work.
