Meadowlark Golf Course

Got there on time and was told they were 30 minutes behind...then had to walk on 1st hole as they had no carts. Waited at every hole and ended up only finished 12 holes...terrible. Won't go here again.

This is a good course if you have a few things to work on in your game. Lots of ways to recover from wayward shots, and you'll hit just about every club in your bag at least once.

You'll want to play winter rules as the fairways can be a little dry, patchy, and sometimes muddy (from watering). There are a few elevated greens, turtle shell greens, and those holes can change from a 3 or 4 to a 6 or 7 in a hurry.

Be advised...this IS a muni course, so expect some slow play and errant shots. When it's crowded, they might run out of carts, or let five-somes play. The course can be fun to play, or be extremely aggravating, depending on the day.

Our round was very enjoyable. We checked in with the golf shop with ease, and didn't experience any issues throughout our day. The course was in great condition, and the greens were in great shape as well!

I've never seen a course so busy. We went out 20 minutes after our tee time and our two-some went out with 3 others as a 5 some. We waited on every tee box for the 4 some in front of us(sometimes the group infront of them were on the tee box still!#. It was like LA rush hour traffic on the golf course. This short course crammed on a small piece of land that has fairways adjacent to others, you will be hearing #and maybe saying# "FORE!" a lot. We had to call it quits after the 12th hole because of darkness #4:40pm), and we had a 12:20 tee time! Took us 4 hours to play 12 holes! Don't know how the course justified sending so many groups out. Saw other 5-some groups sent out in front of us, and behind us. Guys we played with said the course isn't usually this busy, and that it was probably due to the holiday, but course shouldn't have booked so many tee times. Disappoointed, and wouldn't play again.

took almost 6 hours ,teed off just after 10am, 1st group after the last group of a best ball tournament.saw 3 of the groups waiting for the greens to clear on par 4s before teeing off not one marshall on course to do anything about it.a friend of mine teed off at 1115 took him 3.5 hours to play NINE holes, not acceptable

First off the girl at the desk was very friendly. I was a single and she said go out with any foursome you want when your ready. So I went right out. They seeded areas of the course and the whole course was over watered. The fairways were soaked with puddles. So it was cart path only. The pace of play was very slow with no ranger in sight. The only plus were the greens were in great shape.

We grabbed $25 rounds for Fri., 11/8. Usually we enjoy this course, but it was 100% cart path only, soaking wet and full of huge puddles and mud and the delightful manure smell..that's right...course was over seeded !

Bleh. Smelled awful all day long, clothes were mud splattered and it was slow because of cart path only.

Buyer beware.

The tee times were too close together for this course. The course is pretty easy so pace of play should be quicker. It doesn't take long for this course to get backed up. It did have some nice features such as extra putting greens around tee boxes. This helps to keep one occupied while waiting to tee off.

Snack bar-food was more exspensive than the a round of golf for 2! bring your own food or don't eat!

Good 19th. hole & staff. Don't quite need a hardhat yet to play. But lots of stray balls flying around. With hole running so close to each other. No SENIOR rate unless you buy a card. [bummer]

the course was maintained well. Fast play with players that know how to play!

Only thing is that they cannot let random walk on's go in anytime, and also needs to let people out in certain time frames, cause it gets to blocked up. 2 of us, and it took over 4+ hours.

but it has a nice design, but needs to be a little more upkeep.

Have played here several times in the past few months. Pace of play has veried significantly from 4 hours to 5 1/2 to finish a round. course is pretty well maintained, greens were good for the most part. I beliee it is a little pricey but if you pay attention, there are good deals out there to play the course.

Pretty good condition, sometimes you might get slowed down, I am not sure why...and other times it goes well...

Course is definitely in need of a Ranger....Hackers were driving golf carts onto tee boxes and within 5-10 feet of the greens. Also, if you don't mind fivesomes. Course is good for practice on weekday.

they were punching the greens while we were playing, slowing down the pace of play even more
if I would have known they were punching the greens I would have picked another course until the grass grows back in

Be careful with Meadowlark, they use GolfNow as a method to cover potential no shows. Granted, I reserved my 9:31 am tee time at 8:00 am of the same day. However, I still heard another 9:30 tee time checking in behind me. So, we ended up as a 5-some. So, needless to say we quit after 14 holes. It took us 1.5 hours to play the first 4 holes. :(

This was a good course, but the pace of play set up back for the day. We started 30 minutes after our initial tee time even though we arrived 30 minutes early as we were instructed. Up until the 13th-14th tee we waited to tee off at every single hole. Would have been more enjoyable if we could have finished within 4.5 hours, but were golfing for over 5.5 hours...

Course is fun and challellenging, with some greens witn concave feel, forcing you to use your high degree wedges to keep the ball from rolling off.
