Rolling Oaks at World Woods Golf Club

waited until group in front got off 1st green, caught them by 3rd hole, thats all to be said for remander of day 5 and 1/2 hours later, they said course got new owners hope they do something, this course isn't worth 45 dollars greens bad, fairways bad. don't now what else to say. New owners need to make sure they price right for future

This course is awesome, but not in as good of shape as Pine Barrens. Its a bit overgrown & needs the attention it's going to get. I will miss playing here, but when their vision for the next version of this place happens, I want to see it. Also, these golf courses deserve better conditioning. I think with newer grasses and another vision plus some trees removed this place will become the Pinehurst of FL.

I've played this course several times over the years. Unfortunately, the property is no longer maintained to the level that is required. I realize the course has been sold but we are still paying a lot of money to play the course. Several greens are losing grass and hardly any bunker is playable. At 1pm on a Monday, I saw one course worker the entire afternoon. I was hoping for a better course for $75 in March.

Better days ahead after the renovation I hope if it isn't too pricey for the local players!!!!!

We had a fantastic round. The club and the amenities are aged. And you can see that the property was sold But the layout still is absolutely stunning. Every hole looks different, Fairways in good shape. So were the greens. Very deceptive and tough to play. A challenging course in a very calm environment. Loved every minute. You can only hope that the rebuild can conserve the atmosphere…. - and that they continue to leave the place open for the public. .

I was skeptical considering the greens comments. Yes, several greens had sandy spots but not a bad as I had feared. I was pleasantly surprised. The rest of the course was great. The rye grass overseed went well. Definitely not worth a c-note. It's closing in June for, I heard, a year and a half for renovation. If you can find a deal, go.

We happened upon this golf course and we were pleasantly surprised and are happy to hear it is going to be renovated. It is going to be fantastic. We enjoy playing Cabot in Nova Scotia and I gather the same people are involved so it should do very well!

Rolling Oaks is always one of the courses we enjoy playing when we are in Florida.

We were disappointed with the conditions. I played the course in December and it was in good condition and half the price of yesterday’s round. Course was very brown and the greens were very slow.

Played Rolling Oaks. Greens were in terrible condition. Fairways were somewhat greens but obviously not seeded enough for winter months. Landscaping unkept and rough was very rough. Trees down all over the course and just left there, some on cart paths and you have to drive around them. There are 10 courses within 20 miles that are in far better shape and prices more reasonable.

Rolling Oaks along with sister course Pine Barrens is a top 5 experience in Florida. Highly recommend making this a destination stop while in Florida if you are anywhere near these two courses.

Play it before June when new owners come in and ruin 2 great layouts at affordable prices for daily play players
