Rolling Oaks is one of two championship courses at World Woods Golf Club. The layout offers something completely different from the renowned Pine Barrens course at the club, but it still offers the same amount of challenge and quality. The golf course is named after its landscape of rolling hills and forests of centuries old Oak trees draped with Spanish moss. Lush, rolling fairways lead to undulating greens that are protected by sharply defined, white sand bunkers. Water hazards come into play on three holes. The golf course has a traditional design but the dramatic elevation changes and picturesque landscape covered in azaleas, dogwoods, and magnolia trees really make it stand out. In addition to the two golf courses, World Woods also offers a nine-hole practice course and a circular, 20-acre driving range with target greens and practice bunkers.

This is me on one of the more difficult par 5's. If you play it and your a long ball, play it to the right fairway...You can make it...Lol.. Photo submitted by Robert5455343 on 11/16/2013

Nice course but was overbooked!
This was a nice course. Greens were slow and some needed some more time since they just aerated 2 weeks ago. Scott the Ranger was very helpful and personable but the course was overbooked. Probably due to long Labor Day weekend, make pace of play pretty bad. It was so hot that day too. So glad the cart girl came around to help cool us down! Fairways were in good shape and gave plenty of room for shots off the tee box. I'll come back again but when it's less crowded.
ww
Not worth the money., Greens bad , bunkers bad , and fairways ok. Gone down a lot in last 5 years.
Love these courses
We have played World Wood courses a few times over the last 2 years, Great layout, Fairways in excellent shape, greens have some issues with large diseased areas, could have placed hole in green areas.
Great course
Great layout. Played in afternoon heat with few golfers around, so nice to have this nice pace of play. Fairways are good. Greens rough shape but have been aerated so hopefully they can get them back in good condition. World Woods both courses are worth the drive.
Rolling Oaks
Great layout. Always love playing Rolling Oaks. The greens were aerified and have a few rough spots, but they still roll well, since the course is always well maintained.
Solid for the right price
Solid course - greens have been punched and slow.
Some wet areas.
Beautiful track with some issue but solid for the right price.
Solid staff.
Condition
Greens were really bad. Plus they had just airerated making it very difficult to putt. Seemed we had to deal with mowers all day. I've played this course for over 25 yrs. This was a very above avg place. Not now just run of milk very avg
Different layout
Greens are 6/10 and slowwww. Liked the different layout. I would compare it to saddlebrook in n Tampa area w worse greens. Play foxwood hallow or lake jovita and save the drive. Landsbrooke is in similar shape
Was disappointed in the condition of the greens. Large brown spots on the greens, also bear areas. Fairways were great. But it's not the course it started out years ago.
Lil Spotty
The only issue I had was some of the greens had herpes and they were bumpy and shaggy. Other than that fun course.
Great Golf Experience
World Woods offers a competitive courses, superb course maintenance and a great layout. The putting course and chipping areas are a huge bonus as are the driving ranges. World Woods accommodates large numbers of golfers without courses feeling overcrowded.
Rolling Oaks
Over all beautiful course. Well maintained, but the roughs were rough. The greens in the day I played ran slower but true. You could tell they had been punched in the last month or so.
Rolling oaks looking good
I know they had some condition issues for a bit but I wanted to mention they have done a good job recovering. It was a little soft in a few areas from all the rain but for the most part course was good. Cart path only just for the 18th hole (my only birdie of the day) The greens were done a few weeks back. They were a little slow but in much better shape than they were. They rolled nice and I only saw a few bad spots here and there. I couldn’t get the ball to the hole as they just were a tad slow but not furry or anything. Another few weeks they should be excellent. Fairways were good, tee boxes good. It’s not the best I’ve ever seen it but for it’s in pretty good shape and it’s $50 to play right now. Overall a great day and well worth the drive.
Always great
World Woods you never disappoint. The greens are back on the Oaks. They were a bit slow today but that’s understandable considering they’re coming back. Course was in great shape, some standing water because of all the rain we had. 18 on the right side was about 2ft of standing water. Didn’t affect the day tho. Great job to the ground crew and staff!
Well maintained course
Considering all the rain we received for days I was extremely surprised at how well the fairways were holding up. Some pooled water but overall great!
Played Pine Barrens and course was in great shape. Lot of water in sand traps.
