Cypress Point Country Club is conveniently located within minutes of the Norfolk International Airport and the Virginia Beach Town Center. Despite its accessibility, the golf course feels peacefully isolated, making it a great choice for golfers who are looking for the convenience of a city course with the pace and beauty of the countryside. It's a layout that is as challenging as it is scenic with strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides and fairways. The occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course will challenge players of all skill levels but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. Beginners will still be able to enjoy a round at Cypress Point Country Club. Besides the course, the club is also popular for its practice facility, which has a driving range and chipping and putting greens.

Solid conditions, slow play
Course was in solid shape. Tee boxes and fairways were in good condition, and the greens looked good but rolled a bit slow. Pace was slow throughout our round — some brutal foursomes ahead that didn’t know how to play even semi-ready golf. Finished round in over 4.5 hours and course is rated at 4 hours and 2 minutes — not terrible but round would’ve been more enjoyable with some on-course support to keep things moving

We played in 3hours and 45 minutes. Very frienfly staff. Tough for ladies but we loved it!

One thing I did realize this time is that the course is more difficult for women. Every hole is long and the Ladies tee is not significantly forward of the men's yellow. If a lady hits the rough the ball stops. Makes each hole Long.
Greens were very nice but fringe remains rough. Just a great golf course!
Fun Course!
We played in 4 hours, while pace of play seems slow it really isn't. Green in nice shape, fringes remain ruff. I think very long for women and a test for men. Although I am a 19 handicapper.
Terrible pace, price, layout, and overall experience
First time playing here, had two groups infront of us at the start so didn’t get to tee off at tee time. No starter. It was slightly busy which is understandable in this season so we were playing waiting golf for the front 9 as a twosome. Coming up to the turn there is a foursome on the 10th tee box walking to the fairways not riding in carts, with another twosome waiting on them. Went into clubhouse to ask and it seemed the entire staff was in the AC not caring about the bottle neck at #10 right outside. Course is super tight, lots of houses. Not paying 60 to come back here that’s for sure.
Waste of a good course
The course was in good shape. Pro shop was rude and unprofessional. No organization. Course was cart 90 dgree and no cart on par 3s. Group of three in front on me hit two balls each, drove cart on every par 3 fairway, drove to ball in fairway from tee. Pro was more concerned with lessons then he was with anything else. 4 1/2 hours to play 18. Seems No one wants to repair divots. Course needs a Marshall.
Good solid golf course
Nothing to run and tell anyone about but v solid tee to green, enjoyed the round

This was a "Cart Path Only" day, so it is tough to say anything about the course.

While I played god awful, the course was in great shape and made for a fun round.
Overpriced for the quality of the course
Not worth 50 dollars for a tee time. Honeybee and Chesapeake are the same quality of course, for a better price.
Another Fun Round
Pace seemed slow but who can complain when you finish in four hours. Fringe around the greens in pretty tough shape but the green are good. Just a fun course.
