What a joke they double booked. Our teatime had a shotgun start with some of the members right in the middle back the whole course up all afternoon very disappointed. Can’t believe any pro shop would do something like this. Not very professional don’t know why they would call it a pro shop.
Great layout and scenery
Great course mesquite is one of the best places to play golf
Fun Course
Loved the layout. For winter golf I was very impressed in conditions. No pace of play problems but it was chilly and not super busy. Mix of tougher holes with birdie holes. Would definitely play again
Father and son winter golf outing
The Oasis Canyons course is always fun and challenging and a great course to bring my son for a golf outing; I selected the Oasis Golf Club because I have always been treated very well and because it is available through the GolfNow app; check in was smooth and quick, but I think the cart attendants forgot to clean the cart we received because there was trash and two dirty towels on the cart; otherwise, we were the third group at check in, and we got out promptly for our 11:50 am tee time and finished well before sundown which was 4:24 pm; pace of play was excellent on the front nine, but it did slow down beginning on #10 which I believe is due to the back nine challenge; we waited on each hole on the back nine but only briefly so it wasn’t disturbing; the course was in pretty good shape with the fairways having some bare spots, but the round was very enjoyable for a winter golf trip.
Nice place
I played the Canyons course. It’s a nice course with a fairly friendly design from a players perspective. A few holes are a little tight for long hitters (#4) but overall, it’s a pretty fair course compared to the Palmer. No hidden tee shots which is nice. The course conditions were excellent to near perfect on this particular day with greens rolling fast and true. Admittedly, I prefer cart “girls” vs cart “great grandma’s” but at least the snack cart is out there - I’m just being honest so there’s no need to roast me over this observation. The staff was nice and helpful and the place is really just a nice course for a fun place to play. If you want super elevated tee shots, gimmicky holes that should have windmills and clowns, blind tee shots and hidden hazards, go to Wolf Creek or Falcon Ridge. The Oasis is a real golf course with beautiful panoramic views.
Canyons oasis
Pace of play was 3 hours and 45 minutes, spectacular. Greens were fast and true. Course was in great condition. Well worth the money.
The Canyons is a great coarse. The course superintendent deserves an A. Friendly staff. Greens were great, but fast. Fairways in great shape. One word of caution, you CANNOT walk this course, too long and hilly.
