Golfer Reviews
Nice place
I played the Canyons course. It’s a nice course with a fairly friendly design from a players perspective. A few holes are a little tight for long hitters (#4) but overall, it’s a pretty fair course compared to the Palmer. No hidden tee shots which is nice. The course conditions were excellent to near perfect on this particular day with greens rolling fast and true. Admittedly, I prefer cart “girls” vs cart “great grandma’s” but at least the snack cart is out there - I’m just being honest so there’s no need to roast me over this observation. The staff was nice and helpful and the place is really just a nice course for a fun place to play. If you want super elevated tee shots, gimmicky holes that should have windmills and clowns, blind tee shots and hidden hazards, go to Wolf Creek or Falcon Ridge. The Oasis is a real golf course with beautiful panoramic views.
Canyons oasis
Pace of play was 3 hours and 45 minutes, spectacular. Greens were fast and true. Course was in great condition. Well worth the money.
The Canyons is a great coarse. The course superintendent deserves an A. Friendly staff. Greens were great, but fast. Fairways in great shape. One word of caution, you CANNOT walk this course, too long and hilly.
Slow
Slow, slow, slow, slow. 10 holes, 3 hours. RIDICULOUS
Great Course with Great Views
I played with a member and we played the blue and white tees depending on the hole. The yardage was not very long but some of the holes were still challenging. Mostly pretty flat which was surprising since it was located near Wolf Creek. Great practice facility and friendly staff.
Canyons Oasis
The course was in terrific shape and the greens were exceptionally quick. Pace of play was great. We teed off at 2:10 pm and we’re able to finish under 4 hours. Great deal to play this course.

You'll have a great time playing "The Canyons." Hit Loat nine balls over the 18 holes. Sweet Judy Blue Eyes!
