Excellent
This course is beautiful and great value on golf now. Paying and booking through course can be pricey
Great course
Fun course and worth the green fees, be prepared for slower play but the course is nice and worth the wait.
Mesquite Jewel
Well laid out, great signage to follow, nice amenities.
I play at Oasis frequently. Great coarse, challenging holes. Well maintained.
Extreme heat
Very nice course played the canyon will have to come back next year to play the Palmer.
Beautiful course. Need better signage. Got off track after #5 and finding #10. Also would be helpful if there was painted stones by cart path to show tee locations.
I play here frequently. Best value in our area. Great coarse, great practice facilities.
Enjoyed this course.
Always enjoy playing this course, staff is friendly, the course is in great shape, and pace of play was great. Can’t wait to come back and play.
GolfNow Good Times
Played with single and couple who turned out to be very cool. We had lots of fun. Lady was a baller who had game from tee to green. We played fast but a drunk 3 some held us us up from playing under 4 hours. They parked on 17th green if that gives ya any indication. The "tee keeper" who followed us most of the way. Storm came out of nowwhere so high winds about 35mph for at least 10 holes made scoring impossible at best. I lost my hat twice. Sorry Colorado boy got hair while my playing partners except lady were basically bald which I notice is a trend in NV. Anyways the greens are big and generally fast which I like and similar to courses that I play in Co, you will not be able to read them either.
Better this time
I had played this course once before on a group outing. That time was in August and the greens were not good. I recognize that summer in Mesquite is hard on course conditions, but the greens last time made the day unenjoyable.
Playing in spring time, the greens were much better and it let me get a better sense of the design. We had winds in the 30+ mph range which increased the challenge.
The layout features a lot of elevation change and a few forced carries. There is enough water to make you think. Several of the three pars are steep drops that made factoring the wind difficult. Fairways were good. Greens weren’t too fast, but ran true.
The clubhouse is nice, though they have portions reserved for members. We didn’t have much interaction with the staff. The grass range was a little chewed up, but it beats using mats. There is a short game area which is a nice feature.
Overall, we had a good day. I recommend outside of the later summer when the greens may be an issue.
