About
Located about an hour from both the Monterey Peninsula and the San Francisco Bay area is Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Gilroy, a city known as the "Garlic Capital of the World" and just east of Santa Cruz. Eagle Ridge's 18 holes of modern-designed championship golf are set amongst the oak forest foothills since it opened in 2000. The golf course features six sets of tee boxes, 92 bunkers, three lakes, seven creeks and also features many multi-tiered greens so it can play as challenging as golfers of any skill level would like. Eagle Ridge Golf Club also features full practice, restaurant and clubhouse facilities.

I understand we have water issues in California but this is a golf course after all! I mean first of all it’s nonpotable water they use anyway so at least get the fairways in shape. (Brown spots everywhere!) I never got called for my tee time out and the person at the desk didn’t really seem to care to talk much! I had to walk up to a 3some and ask them if they were there 10:40 group. If a few little things can be done maintenance wise this course would be great to play and challenging for all levels. Unfortunately one person in our group considered to be worthy of playing the tips DO NOT if your handicap is 10 or above! He was not! makes for a long day :(

Definitely the last time
I last played Eagle Ridge in 2017 and vowed never to play there again. The bunkers were a mess and many parts of the course wasn't doing well. After watching a YouTuber play there this year I decided to give it a try and while they've fixed the bunkers the rest of the course was in pretty rough shape. Lots of burnt or dead grass and the greens while they rolled well were littered with unrepaired divots. With the water issues in CA and how hot Gilroy gets you almost can't blame the greenskeeper but this will definitely be my last trip to EG

Course is in decent shape considering the heat. Greens are nice. Some bare spots in the fairway are expected.

Nice course. Not too busy about 11am or windy.

Don’t follow google directions in housing development just keep going straight on clubhouse drive

Price ouch!!
You need to reduce rates. Hardly anybody on the course yet the green fees are way too high for a Thursday at 11:30

greens were rough...some dead areas in the fairways and green

New Eagle Ridge
With all the sand traps rebuilt and a new superintendent the course has taken on a new look with all the challenges that require all your clubs.
While Eagle Ridge is still a course with a challenge it is now fair and rewarding.
As a member I play often and it has improved my game. Grip and rip holes as well as target shots.

Golf shop lady
Older lady in the golf shop was rude and not very helpful. The tee boxes were beat up and had tall weeds that needed to be pulled in order to not get your club snagged. I will not play there again unless it was free.

Nice course
You need to fix some of tee areas as some were not level!! Some pin placements were too close to the edges, but all in all pretty good positions.
