Eagle Ridge Golf Club

The gentleman in the pro shop with the glasses always exhibits fantastic customer service. I usually stop by to hit a bucket and play here periodically. The course is in really good shape. Don’t let previous reviews criticizing the conditions scare you away. Most of the bunkers are played as ground under repair. No big deal because you get a free drop. Otherwise, course is in better condition than 90% of other Bay Area courses

Except for the bunkers (they are continuing to work on them) the course was in great shape. They are much more flexible than their sister course (they welcome golf now customers and are accomodating & friendly). I would reccomend!

The bunkers are terrible and offer no challenge.or risk. The greens are not recovering well as ball marks are everywhere. Staff is good. But it is in a home development and that was nice

This place is covered with bunkers and they were all under repair. There was no sand in any of them. Asked a local and apparently they've been that way for about a year.

The greens were in bad shape as well. My local $10 Muni course has better maintenance.

I was expecting more from a course in such a beautiful setting/community.

Rude staff when brought up to management they laughed about it....course is in horrible condition and the bunkers dont even have sand in them just over grown weeds.

Staff rude and when brought up to management they did nothing about it besides laugh....the course in bad condition lose a ball when you hit it down the center of the fairway it's so un kept.....bunkers have no sand but yet they have a ton of them just over run by weeds...dont waste your money if they charged a dollar it would be to much.

We love playing Eagle Ridge! The course is challenging and fun and sure you might be able to find courses with better conditions (and bunkers) but what makes it special is the outstanding service Evan and his crew provide and making every golfer feel as a treasured guest.

I like Eagle Ridge but the current condition of the course is terrible. 90% of the bunkers are played as "ground under repair" because they are full of weeds and rocks, no sand. The greens were "OK" for the most part but portions of the fairways were in fair to poor condition. The course is difficult enough when its in great shape, very difficult to score on like this. I wouldn't recommend this course right now. I hope they repair it, its a great track when it is pristine shape.

I am super disappointed with the service and conditon of the course resently. Checking in was like checking into millitary facility. Asking for name and a conformation number. Are you fing kidding. Out of all the my times making a ttime this was the first time asked other than my last name and time. And its not like the place is packed. We finally got through the MP guard and carts loaded up then returning to starter to get the run down on local rules today. Well it turns out all of the sand bunkers over grown like a waste area and played as Ground under Repair which helps by dropping outside of the hazard. The course overall fairways and rough was not kept up for days and this was really sad for once a pristine track for target golf. So if you want to just dink around and care about your score the experience some race discrimination while checking, play here. This was probably our last time at Eagle.

All the bunkers need total repair in fact all the bunkers have ground under repair signs and it had been that way for quite sometime, the course is in good condition.

The greens are nice but to get on on many holes is difficult to say the least. Covered by trees, bogs, nasty sand traps that do not have sand, but dead plants and weeds. The course needs to be trimmed back to make it a little more golfer non pro friendly.

I am a +20 player and struggle with spending a lot of money to go hack up a course, so I always try to find a round of golf for under $40. That being said, I would spend more than that to play here. Very challenging, but forgiving at the same time. Yeah the bunkers are horrible but hey, just stay away from them! It's not like you're paying what it cost to play Pebble and they're junk. Twilight rate is really good, staff is very friendly. Have been and will continue to come back!

I have been playing Eagle Ridge for seven or eight years and always considered it one of my favorites. But it has been horribly neglected as of late. Half the bunkers have signs saying under repair and they are filled with weeds. The tee boxes are torn up and weedy. The trails between holes are overgrown with weeds. Why? This is a fantastic course - challenging, long, and in a beautiful setting. But it looks like no one is taking care of it. What a disappointment, I loved this course and always felt it was a treat to get to play there. I played today at 4:30, and there were only a few cars in the parking lot and I only saw one other player on the course. The good news is I played 18 holes in three hours from the pro tees.

It was surprising to see the course condition has deteriorated. About 98% of the bunkers were unplayable, “ground under repair”. Many of the tee boxes had grass weeds. The fairway and green side rough had weed growth out of control. This is worst course condition I have encountered having played here before. The course layout is challenging yet fun but the course condition made it something less than desirable, despite the GolfNow hot deal,

Approximately 80% of the bunkers were “under repair”. and per the staff if your ball landed in one of these marked bunkers you could take relief without penalty. This completely changes the game and not for the better in my opinion. There were a lot of large overgrown weeds in most of the bunkers nor did I see any grounds keepers tending to the bunkers which led me to believe that no repairs were being made. I will call ahead of time to confirm the bunkers have been brought to repair before booking here again.
