About
Nestled at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains, Indian Canyons Golf Resort offers two championship courses with stunning views. The two golf courses, North and South, have completely different layouts but they are both sheltered from the wind thanks to the surrounding mountains. The South Course is the shorter of the two, making it the more player-friendly course. That is not to say it is not a challenge though. The rolling fairways are framed by contoured mounding and four expansive lakes come into play on six holes. The par 5s are particularly memorable. There are also well over 1,300 palm trees throughout the golf course, which includes hundreds of Washingtonia filifera palms. These trees are native to the Agua Caliente Tribe and an important part of their history.

Sand bunker # 7
Great overall
Only bad thing was the right side green bunker on # 7.
In the bottom of the bunker ..Flat part.... Hit a good bunker shot, but hit right down into a fabric /mesh ... and club come to a complete stop.... really bad for hands and wrist ..
Please, if you don't have enough sand in the bunker ...do not cover the fabric.
Palm Springs, Spring break
Beautiful course. Everyone was really nice. Great shape. Could night take cart to car. Restaurant food/ breakfast was great. Good value
Great Track
Really enjoyed playing this course. Great condition and staff, especially the gentlemen that clean clubs at the end of round and the waitress that served us. They were extremely friendly and professional.
Just beautiful
Great course in excellent condition. I found back more difficult with more water features and bunkers. We started a 7:10 am, finished in 3 hours.. early morning beat the heat.
Great course in the desert, play at least once a year when we come to Palm Springs.
Always fun
Course is always in wonderful shape. Don't let the wide fairways fool you, still a challenging and fun layout.
Player friendly and beautiful course
This was a very nice experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The course is player friendly and visually beautiful with lots of room for most of your misses while still punishing you with water and OB if you get too sloppy or too aggressive. The pace of play was what it should be. (Little to no waiting) The greens were tricky but fair and in good condition.
I played with friendly locals who very willingly shared their course knowledge. Which helps with the confidence and, in my case, my score.
It was a wonderful day on a beautiful course with nice people. Which is how I like my golf.
Great track
The course is very well maintained, the greens are true, not slow, the pins were fair and varied. Only a few holes had any issue with wind. Bunkers had good sand but no rakes yet. I enjoyed playing with the guys i was paired with and one had enough course knowledge to be very helpful. Definitely good value.
