About
Nestled at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains, Indian Canyons Golf Resort offers two championship courses with stunning views. The two golf courses, North and South, have completely different layouts but they are both sheltered from the wind thanks to the surrounding mountains. The South Course is the shorter of the two, making it the more player-friendly course. That is not to say it is not a challenge though. The rolling fairways are framed by contoured mounding and four expansive lakes come into play on six holes. The par 5s are particularly memorable. There are also well over 1,300 palm trees throughout the golf course, which includes hundreds of Washingtonia filifera palms. These trees are native to the Agua Caliente Tribe and an important part of their history.

Great Course!
The golf course was in great condition and my son and I had a fantastic round. We couldn't have been paired with two nicer guys, also. Beautiful views and a challenging course.
Only downside was the rude staff at curbside check-in and the course martial. Hassles about getting separate carts (message not delivered nicely) and on the course we were instructed at the fourth tee box to increase our pace of play as there were "already two open holes ahead" of us. We had an early morning tee-time and the "group" in front of us was a single. No surprise there were open holes!
HORRIBLE Pace of Play
From the 1st tee, waited on every shot, 5 hr round on a Thursday. Never was able to get into any rythym, very frustrating. Saw a marshall once, early in the round. Figured out later, besides packing the course, there was a group of 12 in front of us with half walking (all should have been riding!). Greens were pretty beaten up from all the recent play. Not likely to play this course again, not the first time we've had a bad experience.
Beautiful course but watch cart return time
Beautiful course and views, only disappointment is carts need to be returned by 6:30. Plenty of sunlight left to finish round but had to skip last 3 holes. Should be 7:00

Top five in every way!
We have played a lot of courses public, some private throughout Florida, Arizona and the midwest. Indian Canyons South is in our top five ranking in nearly every category and we hope to be able to make it back another time or two!
Splendor in the grass
What a gem for a public golf course in Pam springs! Great layout and in fantastic condition.first few holes are a little shaky because of the sand, you just have to be smart.
Expect to play it one more before learning the desert.
