Old Hickory Golf Club

Very nice course! This was my second time playing Old Hickory. I must admit each time gets better, however, you have to employ course management. Looking forward to playing it again!

Great course. Challenging, great greens. Should post handicaps at tee box. 22's should not hit from black or gold.

Had a great time. Played with a member after the tournament. There was some back up initially but the pace picked up. Overall a great course to play.

Management could have paid better attention to details like no sand in containers on carts, water coolers out of water and extreme pin placements. Course was in good condition. Grade of B on a scale of A-F.

Overall a very nice course. The greens run true and hold well. I would not say they were fast. It would take a long time to get bored of this place

The course is in great shape and the staff is friendly.

Great course conditions, very challenging and fun to play

The course provided a challenging & enjoyabe round of golf on a 70+ degree Spring afternoon. The only downside was the sand on a number of greens, which were probably air aerated a number of days earlier.

For it to be early in 2015 golfing season, the course was in outstanding condition. The greens rolled pretty true and the rough was not overly penal. I will definitely be playing Old Hickory again!

Old Hickory is an awesome place to play. It's definitely a trek from DC but one my friends and I have gladly made over the years. The course is reminiscent of a pete or PB dye course with a lot of bunkering throughout the course and are positioned fairly for the most part, only penalizing bad shots. It's a development golf course so the majority of the holes are closely lined by houses. I'm also not sure if the course was bought by new management but the conditions have noticeably improved. The carts are brand spanking new and a lot of the other fixtures and equipment around the course is as well. The conditions were great and the greens look great. Definitely recommend.

Course was in pretty decent shape for early February. Fairways were nice and smooth; Green were slow and bumpy. Some of the Tee boxes looked like they hadn't seen any maintenance since the summer; was really hard to push tees down into the box on most tee boxes. Sight lines are really good; few blind shots. Course could use more signage to help navigate from hole to hole. For a day when the course was packed, it was a good choice to play a round.

Great time and weather! More golf carts needed. Course is very friendly to new players, but is a challenge.

Course is a major risk/reward course with tee shots to undulated fairways and tiered greens. I cannot wait to play this course in season. The front nine was borderline frozen, but you can see the character play through the frost.

I absolutely love this place by far one of the best courses in northern va. If you haven't had a chance to play it go. I promise you will like the challenging holes and the staff is helpful. A+ in my book

Greens were frozen due to weather but other than that everything else was excellent

This course was in immaculate condition for December! Enjoyed the round very much. Pace of play was a little slow but not horrible.

Found a great hot deal via golfnow. Great course; challenging and great layout.

I wish the yardage difference between white and gold wasnt so large.

had a good time. there was a tourny in front of us, but by the eight hole we has no one in front of us. got the full 18 before night fall

Starting holes are scoring holes after that is becomes more difficult and every hole is different than the previous so fun to play
