The Concorde is the newer of the two courses at the Revere Golf Club. Both carry a heavy American Revolution theme, but it's not the gimmicks but the golf that's likely to grab your attention.

The Concorde course highlights the Red Rock Canyon while the Las Vegas prolific design team of Billy Casper and Greg Nash challenge hackers with length. And not just ordinary length, but length with tough twists.

Take the 551-yard, par-5th. A 25-foot rock wall protects the front of the hole once you manage to get close. Get to anxious to launch your ball over the wall and you're likely to send it skirting into one of the seven bunkers at the back of the green.

Forget the American Revolution battles. If the British played this course, they'd probably surrender, too.

Enjoyable Course

This course has many downward sloping fairways rewarding many of my drives with 50+ extra yards of roll. This made for a fun course to play. It is well designed but had lots of spotty areas. They were doing tons of maintenance not sure if it was a Thursday thing or what. There is also no locker room. Was the most appropriately priced place I've played around Vegas so far.

Thank you for the review! If you liked the Concord, you’ll have to come out and play the premiere of the two courses, the Lexington the next time you’re in town.

Scenic Course with Views of Mountains/Strip

Although the course wasn’t in the best of shape (ball marks on greens, entry and exit points on fairways need work, rough was dormant) and the starter seemed to have an edge, the course is both interesting and fun to play. Sloping fairways and elevated tees make for positional golf and enjoyable views.

Amazing views

Started our day with a breakfast burrito with home fries for $8 each. Great price & served quickly. Got a small bucket of balls to hit. Nice range. The course has a lot of elevation changes with great views of the valley & The Strip. Almost all fairways run left to right. Greens were in good shape. Pace of play was outstanding, never had to wait on any tee! Highly recommended.

Nice Course

In good shape except where they had already plugged the fairways on 4 holes and the rough had too much dead grass in it at places. But, I understand they were preparing to overseed. This time of year is a struggle for many courses. I am sure most times it is as nice as many holes were. Lacks a little shade and would be nice to come back cooler day. The marshall had extra water which helped and the cooler gal came around 4 times during the round. I will be back another time and think it will be a perfect course. Very friendly people all around the course.

Great Views, Even Better Golf!

My former business colleague was in town and I wanted to show him some nice views- he lives in Switzerland so he knows beautiful but really did enjoy the course! Staff provided plenty of water and the day was good fun. Like the elevated tee boxes and the greens ran true although a bit slow. Look forward to another outing Soo!

Great layout!

One of the most beautiful courses around, lots of elevation changes, great scenery, fairways are forgiving, but what the fairways giveth, the greens taketh! Greens are receptive on the approach, but reading the line and speed are a little tricky, at least for someone who doesn't play there often. Unfortunately the regular group they have on that day wasn't prepared to start when they should have and we started around 15 minutes late, not much but when dealing with 110 plus temps it made a difference, half our group was unable to finish round. Beer in clubhouse was a little warm and completely flat.

Great value for the money

I have played this in the past, so I knew what to expect. The course was in very good shape. There was some browning on the greens, but they were still moist and rolled true. We saw the cart girl 3 times during the round, which I consider to be good.

I only have 2 complaints about the course:

1. The only water out on the course that I could find were the drinking fountains at the rest stops, and the one by #14 green had been removed. While the cart came with 2 water bottles in the little cooler, that is pretty marginal in summer. This is Vegas, dudes - we really need more water!

2. The range balls are no longer free (I haven't been out here for a while), and a bucket of about 70 golf balls costs $13 if you aren't a Summerlin resident. That's kinda steep. It was offset by the very reasonable resident rate of $35 for the round, though. If I had paid $60 to play, I would have been a little PO'ed at shelling out another $13 for range balls...which is why I marked off-course amenities down to 3 stars.

All in all, a very good test of your game, and if you pay GolfNow rates, a great deal!

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

The Good: We enjoyed the course layout immensely. The holes are unique, with elevated tee boxes and elevated greens. The greens were in good condition and the course was adequately maintained. It was a good value at $32.00 but I would not want to pay anymore.

The Bad: It would have been nice to have had a diagram of the holes on the scorecard. It would have been nice to have a diagram of the pin placements. There were no paper towels in the bathroom or soap in the dispensers. There was no sand in the bottles on the golf carts to repair fairway divots.

The Ugly: We followed a group of SIX! The ranger saw them and did NOTHING to break them up! There is NO water on the course and water costs $3.00 a bottle while beer is $2.00 a can. On this same golf trip we went to Coyote Springs and they were giving away free bottles of water on the course!

Just ok

Great practice facilities from range to chipping areas. Greens were tough to read but of decent speed. Layout was not too tough & I played the tips. So I’ll try the Lexington next as I heard that one has more to it. Overall good if you live nearby. But for me the drive from Rhodes Ranch was not worth it as that course is a notch better.

Slow play

I love the Revere. We were scheduled to play the Concord but we were moved to the Lexington because a women's tournament was playing slowly. We played 6 holes without any wait before we caught the field. There was a foursome that had our 3some and a 2some backed up. we slowly followed the group as they searched the dessert for balls and 3 and 4 putted every green. This was painfully slow and we never saw a marshall. After the cart girl told us on 14 that no one was in front of the agonizingly slow players, we considered jumping a hole to get around them. We love the course and pro shop staff, starter and bag drop help but hopefully the marshalls will start policing the course for extremely slow play.
