About
Located close to the San Tan Mountains, the course at the Lone Tree Golf Club offers not only a good game but also beautiful mountain views. This championship golf course was done in a traditional desert-style with rolling fairways and fast greens that are large and undulating. There are also several sand bunkers that protect both the fairways and the greens. Water hazards come into play on five holes and extensive mounding adds further challenge. The course features four sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. Lone Tree Golf Club boasts extensive practice facilities including a targeted grass range, a large putting green, and a short game area with a sand bunker.

Lone Tree
Course is in great shape. Back nine was a little slow but overall not bad
Always a pleasant round, 1st thru 19th
Lone Tree is very consistent and well maintained. You really need to practice course management. I lost one handicap point this round but it was my fault. Staff is excellent, 19th beers/food is excellent. Great patio amenities that cater to smoking too.

Had out of town guests playing and knew I could count on Lone Tree to impress.

First time here, but will be back. Course is making the transition to lush winter conditions.
A very nice Facility!!
Decided to play 36 today @ Lone Tree…started at 8:17 and finished at 12:50….badly in need of a ranger who will implement policy. When the 8 AM group takes over 4.5 hrs your stuck with it all day unless u have an event which luckily they had…the pro shop got me off at 1:03 instead of my original 1:57 time. I played in 4 hrs & 10 min. The starter’s name I believe was Stephanie. Tall blonde who I’m sure gets marriage proposals on a daily basis. This gal knew her job and did it very well. They took care of us in the shop and then this gal made it function extremely well! She really was the key.
Range balls were very good, the grill was well staffed and most importantly, Tommi, the Assistant PGA Professional, had a great personality and knowledge of the operation
The greens rolled very well… maybe 9-10 +, fairways and rough were plush considering the course is coming out of over seeding process. No question that you should put this course on your list!

over seeding season
Course was nice. Had some challenging shots but overall open good course. Unfortunately it was over seeding time so cart path only, that makes for a longer game and slow pace of play. The greens were also fertilized so it was like putting on rock salt. Rain will take care of that. I will go back again but, make sure it's not seeding time.

Course is in Good Shape
Still Cart Path Only, but pace was still excellent (3:40). Tee boxes still were needing time; fairways were in fair shape; sand traps were full and fluffy; greens were fair-to-good, with some sanding present. Value was excellent.
