About
Located close to the San Tan Mountains, the course at the Lone Tree Golf Club offers not only a good game but also beautiful mountain views. This championship golf course was done in a traditional desert-style with rolling fairways and fast greens that are large and undulating. There are also several sand bunkers that protect both the fairways and the greens. Water hazards come into play on five holes and extensive mounding adds further challenge. The course features four sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. Lone Tree Golf Club boasts extensive practice facilities including a targeted grass range, a large putting green, and a short game area with a sand bunker.

Course is in Good Shape
Still Cart Path Only, but pace was still excellent (3:40). Tee boxes still were needing time; fairways were in fair shape; sand traps were full and fluffy; greens were fair-to-good, with some sanding present. Value was excellent.
One our favorite courses
So many courses to play in Arizona, Lone Tree is fairly priced and a great course
Much improved course conditions from earlier in the year
Just coming out of overseed Lone Tree has improved considerably from just a few months ago. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are all in great shape. The greens have especially improved. Pace of play, even with cart path only, was very good. It’s a nice course with nice layout and it’s good to see it being brought back up to what it should be. The practice facilities and restaurant are great for before and after. Staff very friendly and welcoming.
Nice day with nice people
Course was pretty decent and the beer was cold, finished just before the monsoon hit. Counted six trees ripped out or pushed over on the road home.
