Lone Tree Golf Club
About
Located close to the San Tan Mountains, the course at the Lone Tree Golf Club offers not only a good game but also beautiful mountain views. This championship golf course was done in a traditional desert-style with rolling fairways and fast greens that are large and undulating. There are also several sand bunkers that protect both the fairways and the greens. Water hazards come into play on five holes and extensive mounding adds further challenge. The course features four sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. Lone Tree Golf Club boasts extensive practice facilities including a targeted grass range, a large putting green, and a short game area with a sand bunker.

Course not ready
Greens not cut or rolled at all. I get the maint, but don't open the course - and take people's money - until the course is ready. Was like putting on velcro. Course should not have been opened for play yet.
Hal
Course was excellent considering the recent overseed . Greens slow, but will be normal soon
Great Course
Buddy and I played on a Monday week before overseed. Course was in surprisingly very good condition tee to green considering they are preparing for overseed. Staff is always great, and pace was great as we played in 3 1/2 hours. The only minus were the flags. Someone needs to remind whoever placed them what the colors mean. Two of 18 holes had the correct color and position. I guess this is why we're told to always shoot for middle of the green! We'll be back a few weeks after overseed is completed.
Great Round at Lone Tree
It was a good day. Fast pace of play. Complete is 3 hours. Shot well and had a great time.
Course attention to turf is good, getting off the fairway is a ball search
Love this course and the people. Great food and beverages and happy hour! Little attention needed on the off-fairway lies. Good green rolls.
Trash course
Worse condition in the valley and terrible pace of play
Worst condition and pace
Probably the worst condition in the valley and not even worth $25 especially when the pace is over 4 1/2 hours
Always Great
Course in nice shape, especially considering it's September in the desert. Club house staff always outstanding, as well as outside services. The only negative was the hot hot temps, but can't blame Lonetree for that!
Horrible shape
Just finished a round there. The course is in horrible shape. Fairways very dry and right off the fairways are cluttered with weeds. Greens are the slowest I have played this summer. Even at the 34 dollars I would not play or recommend this course to anyone I knew.
Monsoon = Green grass
This course has been thirsty for quite some time. Monsoon season fixed that. Course was in great shape greens a little slow but not bad for the price.!
Subpar conditions
I've golfed this course for years now and I hadn't experienced anything like I had here before nor anywhere else. Checkin went fine, but as I'm about to make my approach shot to the green the landscapers are mowing the green! I waited a moment but they continued. Once they finally noticed my brother and I waiting to make our shots they moved off the green but left the flag on the ground. After we finished this hole, the mowers went to the next green. Fortunately, we were already on the green and I asked them landscaper why they were mowing while we were trying to play our round. He said he had to mow the first 4 holes. So after we finished this hole we began to distance ourselves from the mowing and enjoyed most of the rest of the round but the course conditions weren't what I remember playing here. I may not be back for a while...
