About
Located close to the San Tan Mountains, the course at the Lone Tree Golf Club offers not only a good game but also beautiful mountain views. This championship golf course was done in a traditional desert-style with rolling fairways and fast greens that are large and undulating. There are also several sand bunkers that protect both the fairways and the greens. Water hazards come into play on five holes and extensive mounding adds further challenge. The course features four sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. Lone Tree Golf Club boasts extensive practice facilities including a targeted grass range, a large putting green, and a short game area with a sand bunker.

A good walk Unspoiled.
Course was in great shape (espc, greens and fairways). Pace slower than I liked. We had difficulty finishing before dark.pace normal for a weekend afternoon.
A beautiful day. I played well, and the threesome I played along with were very nice. I expect I'll even play again with one member of the group.
Can’t say enough good things about Lone Tree
My golf buddy and I decided to venture out of Scottsdale (where we live and usually play) this weekend. We were drawn to this course by some other reviews and I can confidently say that they exceeded expectations.
Not only were course conditions amazing but the ENTIRE STAFF were hospitable as can be. From our amazing starter who got us on a few minutes early, to the Bev cart attendant (we saw her 3 times during the round) I simply can’t say enough good things. PLAY HERE!
10/10 will be back
Greens are immaculate
Great conditions
Course was in great condition firm tees to greens. A few hot spots on a couple of fairways but they were watering to help. Greens ran true and not lightening fast. Decent rate for a 2:15 tee time. Played with 2 local gentlemen who were a lot of fun. Will definitely play again.

Just like all courses in Phoenix area they are overpriced but this one gives better than others for the price
Solid experience
Was looking for a somewhat affordable course to play in Feb and overall, a solid experience.
Course: fairways and greens were in good shape. Course itself isn’t overly difficult. Fairways are wide, desert isn’t really in play unless you spray it way left or right and the houses are pushed back far enough that they don’t feel on top of you. Greens roll true but pretty undulating especially the front 9. Course knowledge def helps. Water only comes into play on a few holes. Lot of holes feel the same but island par 3 and finishing holes on both 9’s stand out. Men’s league going on meant for some tough pin positions which made it interesting.
Pros
- Pace of play, tee’d off at 7:30 am and finished in 3.5 hrs
- post round at the clubhouse has a nice view and fair price on drinks
Cons
- No GPS on the carts
- having to pay for range balls is a joke as it is with any course
- couldn’t find the Lone Tree
Overall had a good time, would come back if the price is right.

Sneaky but Fun!
First time playing Lone Tree, the course is sneaky but fair. Many greens have a slight elevations with false fronts meaning you need to hit the green. Swirling winds, at least our day, made club selection difficult. Greens were quick but not punishing. Entire staff was welcoming and helpful. Will definitely play again
