Trump National Golf Club

Course was preparing for its annual turf maintenance on Monday but the course conditions were better than 99.9% of any courses available for play. Staff was as friendly and genuine as you could ever experience anywhere. Views were amazing and course was probably the best courses I have ever played but the greens were the most difficult I have ever played.

There is no debate this is a very good golf course but slightly tricked up with certain pin positions.

Waited on every shot until 16th tee.

The reason for my low rating is due to the following. I have never seen so many unrepaired pitch marks on the greens , unraked bunkers with rake lying right next to footprint, divot marks in fairways not filled . Some of the guests need educating on golf etiquette. They think they are above other guests and think why should I. I fully except not the staffs fault just really ignorant lazy golfers only thinking of themselves and no one else .The service from the staff was outstanding especially the starter.

We played twilight golf for a fantastic price. The course is beautiful & the views are amazing. The greens were in great shape & were a lot harder (double & breaks) than they appeared.

I was disappointed in the customer service however. Some examples included loading our own clubs, parking our car, unloading clubs and overall sense of urgency & pride of the course support team. We also ate lunch at the restaurant, the food & service were excellent!

Great challenging layout and some phenomenal signature holes. Staff is very attentive as you would expect for this very high end golf experience.

First time playing here, what an experience. Staff was friendly, never waited for 1 shot out there, course is tough but in excellent condition, and of course the insane views. Had a 2:40 tee time and were the last group able to finish 18 just after sunset. If you have a shot to play it and haven’t, do it.

I have played a lot of courses and this may be on the top of the list ! Views are out of this world! Course was in amazing condition! The staff was as nice as I have experienced! The only downside is it is an incredibly difficult course! Bring plenty of golf balls!

I am too busy enjoying the sunset scene to play golf. The best way to enjoy the course is to play from the tips. Many narrow fairways, lost many balls😀.

This course layout was amazing and the staff was very courteous. The pace of play was HORRIBLE on the back 9. We waited 20 minutes for each shot, and when you pay $300 for a round, that shouldn't happen. Not a marshal to be found. They also didn't have drinking water anywhere on the course except the clubhouse - and we were parched. The greens are super challenging but very fun. Honestly, if the pace of play had been better, and we weren't so parched, it would have been a perfect outing. But again, for $300 a person, we shouldn't have had to experience that.

Let me start by saying the location and scenery is immaculate. Ridiculous coastal views on almost every hole. Pace of play is also very solid and I've never had an issue here. The staff are all very nice and accommodating as well.

Unfortunately, the course itself is nothing special. Fairways are tiny and many are sloping towards the ocean. A miss is in the ivy with no chance of finding your ball. It almost seems like the course is challenging just for the sake of it. Good shots get punished just as easily as bad and there really is no rhyme or reason for many of the holes other than the goal of labeling the course as "difficult."

I felt compelled to write this review because Trump used to be a course that was worth the poor design and layout because of the scenery, pace of play, and course quality/maintenance. Now, they're attempting to charge Pebble Beach level prices, and it's just not remotely close to being worth the new fees. You're betting off driving to Newport and playing Pelican Hill. Views are almost as good and both courses are maintained just as well, but the difference is those courses are actually playable.

The course is in excellent shape with difficult greens that are difficult to read.

Sand was wet from the fog. Better layout that the Trump Bedmjnster NJ.

The course is short staffed with limited food after the Labor Day holiday and the driving range was closed for it’s weekly maintenance. Only one rest room on each 9 which are poorly maintained and shared with the hiking trail. No food and drink cart service.

Would expect better service/amenities considering the exorbitant green fees

We drove from Newport to golf here for the first time. We drove up to vaet, waited 15 minutes and couldn't find anyone to help us valet or drop our clubs off. I went inside to find out the valet person did not show up and the bag drop helper called off due to bronchitis. The restaurant was not open and the clubhouse looked like a ghost house. We eventually went to the driving range to warm up and agan no one was there to answer questions etc. Finally, an older gentleman arrived to yell at us that we grabbed the wrong color of practice balls- grabbed ours and threw a smaller bag at us. It had 10 balls in it and when I went to get another bag he yelled again saying only 1 bag allowed or else we had to drive up to the clubhouse pay for more and come back It was a very stressful and unkind experience. They are very short staffed and unfriendly at this location which is is shame because all of the other trump experiences have been absolutely wonderful. I did speak with the your manager but nothing came of it
