If you’re wondering is it worth the price? YES. I was in town on vacation and was debating whether it was worth dropping such a substantial green fee on the course. It exceeded my expectations. I doubt there is a more scenic course near LA. Starter was extremely friendly and accommodating. Confío from tee to green were outstanding. Layout? It’s a Pete Dye design. PERIOD. Highly recommend checking this course out for a special occasion. Treat yourself. It’s worth it.

The course was in excellent shape. Staff where friendly, outgoing and professional. The only negative was that the range was closed for maintenance. Other than that it had beautiful scenery.

Everything is expensive. Hat costs $50. But very beautiful course. Views from every hole. Played in 3 hours and forty minutes. Only complaint was that many facilities were not available to nonmembers ie short game practice area was off limits - but no one was using it at all. Also they limit you to 20 practice balls on the range -cheap!

Truly a must-play course
First, the service here is outstanding: People were friendly, courteous, and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Second, the course is IMMACULATE: Absolutely mint. POP was a shade over 4 hours, mostly because this course is a beast; there was no one in front or behind our group all round. This was a huge splurge for me, but definitely worth it: Ocean views on all 18 holes was as majestic as I’d imagined and the memories will last a lifetime. Being a native of nearby Long Beach, I’m glad I saved up for a day of Pete Dye punishment on the Pacific at least once!

Best coarse on the West Coast
It's my BDay 4th of July & they made sure I enjoyed it to the fullest. From checking in, the automated carts, the plush Fairways & greens to the snack bar & grill.

Great time
Played this course when it was :Ocean Trails" years ago.. Then after it became Trump National.. I am from Tucson, so it was "cold and windy" for me.. Only in the 60's with wind coming off the ocean.. BUT the staff was friendly, and the course was in GREAT shape, with true greens.. Not my best round, but that's ok.. Had enough good drives and shots and putts to make me want to come back!
