Trump National Golf Club

The course is absolutely “unplayable” - I break 80 on 7/10 occasions. On this course - on an excellent day I would be lucky to break 90.

The golf course is absolutely stunning to look at. But then save your money & go for a hike around the course - IT’s FREE

The course layout & design makes no sense whatsoever

Wonderful Course!!!! Challenging but so fun. Customer care was impeccable. Course conditions were outstanding. Awesome Day!!!!!!

When I made a tee time through Golf Now at Trump National, there was no notice of any kind on your site that the course was under maintenance. We only learned about the punched and sanded greens and sanded fairways and "cart paths only" when we arrived at the course.

Once there, it's hard to leave. The staff assured us that the greens were "coming back" (although they admitted far from perfect). And we'd made the drive (my partner from 40 miles away). So we played.

The course condition was unworthy of the $145 greens fee. In fact, the greens were not playable and we wouldn't have paid a dime to play that course under those conditions -- had we not committed by driving all the way out there.

The annoyance of "cart paths only" not only slowed up the round, but left me exhausted at the end (I'm 75).

We wanted to have dinner after our round with our wives, but the restaurant was adamant that their last seating was at 7PM. We were on the golf course at 7, so rather than accommodate four people, the restaurant staff simply said "too bad."

Golf Now should have posted a big notice on their site, informing players of the course conditions. We should be refunded, or at least credited with another round when the course is playable.

Played Saturday and pay $195 for 2 players. Cart path and sandy green is not worth of playing or paying $$$$. I wouldn't recommend anyone to pay $195 cart path and sandy green. Once you have your 2nd shot on green you will have to do min 3-4 putts to get near the hole bc of so much sands around the green !!!! Walking not worth it.

Booked this twosome to play a course that my son had wanted to play for years. We didn’t see any notification on Golf Now about aerated greens or cart path only amd only learned that when we got there. What a waste of money. A beautiful round kind of ruined bc the greens were all sandy and uneven. Very disappointing for an expensive club.

The course was aerating the field. I understand punching the greens and field but this was utterly ridiculous. Mounds of sand on the greens resulted in zero putting at the holes. The fields were full of dust and dirt. Construction going on in several holes. The grounds staff was literally using his blower six feet away from my partner as he was try to hit the ball. They were spraying some sort of dirt/sand despite seeing us passing through, and it sprayed all over us. They should not let anyone on under these conditions. I don’t even have words to express what we experienced today. The course layout seemed ok and challenging, but for what you pay definitely expected better service and conditions.

If you’re wondering is it worth the price? YES. I was in town on vacation and was debating whether it was worth dropping such a substantial green fee on the course. It exceeded my expectations. I doubt there is a more scenic course near LA. Starter was extremely friendly and accommodating. Confío from tee to green were outstanding. Layout? It’s a Pete Dye design. PERIOD. Highly recommend checking this course out for a special occasion. Treat yourself. It’s worth it.
