Absolutely Stunning Course

The course was spectacular and met all expectations. You must bring your A game or you will be punished.

However, the green speed and pin locations often felt silly, to unfair. More maddening, it seemed a touch inconsistent hole-to-hole. It was interesting, but I would recommend that you try not to care too much once you are there.

This is a Must Play Golf Course. The views are stunning and the course is incredible. It’s extremely difficult so play at the tees you’re suppose to. Narrow fairways and unforgiving miss-hits. Bring lots of balls and your camera. Picture perfect and beautiful course layout.

It doesn't get any better than this if you play golf. What a beautiful masterpiece of a course. Very challenging but WOW! Staff was extremley friendly and shared information about how to approach the course. Will return again when I am in the area.

I have a love hate relationship with this course. Conditions and pace of play are excellent. Something which is hard to come by in Southern CA on public courses. That said, I hate the layout. Boring and overly penalizing. Holes don’t offer much variety and if you’re not driving the ball dead straight you will lose your ball. The facilities including the range, restaurant, pro shop and bar are fantastic. It’s a shame, I would play here more if the course wasn’t so penalizing. Lastly, it’s not cheap but I will gladly pay a premium for good conditions and pace of play. However, I don’t want to pay $200 to lose balls.

This golf course rivals pebble beach. It is all along the pacific ocean and the views are amazing. It is a challenging course. Everything groomed perfectly as expected from a Trump Owned Property.

When I. Poked the round I saw they they had aerated in the past week. I have played a lot of courses during this time. None were as BAD as this one. There was less sand in the traps than on the greens. There were areas of the course that had 2-3” of sand. Putting was a joke. Tee boxes were a disaster. There is no way a fee should have been charged to play this sandbox.

Course was amazing! 18 holes with Pacific Ocean views from ever Tee Box! I was a single. They put me with a group of guys that were members that couldn't have been nicer. I can't wait to go back!!

It does not get any better than having a view of the Pacific from every hole! Wonderful course Memorable experience

Pros: Beautiful views, interesting layout, decent pace of play, greens fast and tricky.

Cons: Expensive for what you get. Played many 5 star premium priced courses and this one did not stack up in comparison. Lots of holes GUR. Narrow fairways. Uninspired wait staff. Mediocre food. For a tract to bill itself as premium, including the price, you did not get your monies worth. Lots of other choices in socal for comparable pricing and less, like Pelican Hill. Many of holes were cart path only, had big chunks of repairs, and amenities like restaurant had poor service and ok food.

We’ll laid out. Challenging. Narrow fairways. Decent pace play. Spectacular views. Restaurant staff didn’t want to be there. Poor service. Food mediocre. Golf staff excellent. For 5 star property expected more. Poor value overall. Over priced for what you got.

I live close to this course so I have wanted to play for some time. Got a 4:10 tee time with a 8pm sunset. We finished a little before 8pm, however we did get stuck behind a slow threesome (one regular and two beginners). That said this course is pretty amazing but demanding. For average recreational golfers like my buddy and I, it was a tiring afternoon. Tight fairways, bunkers & barrancas surrounding greens and strong afternoon breezes make for a challenging round of golf. If you dont take things tooo seriously though, you will enjoy it. Not a place I would play regularly, but once in awhile it would be a nice treat.

Course view is stunning. Fairway good green fast well maintained. I played 2nd time in Thisbe course but with disappointing feeling.very slow pace since back 9. We tee off at 4:30pm and finished about 6:10 smooth. But starting hole 10, que for every tee boxes because several groups of Korean players sudden appeared. No Marshall showed up to monitor. Until 8:30pm getting dark, cannot play 16 17 18. 2.5 hours for 6 holes!!!!!! Proshop stuff is cold not friendly. No water in the cooler box. Roilet in the course is closedown!!

I won’t play here again

Golf courses should take lessons from Trump courses!The absolute best and prestine course ever played. Course is way beyond championship conditions. The track is very difficult to play well while taking in the absolute breathtaking views. Every hole will amaze you with the beauty. Staff was exceptional,friendly and very helpful. This is first class management at its best. I will make sure that I play again when I return to the area.

Believe me.... This is the best public course you'll play. Other courses.... They're not as good. Everybody knows that!!!!

No doubt the views on this course are with the green fees alone. Staff were brilliant.

Layout for mine was disappointing. Very tight.
