Simply wow! Such a treat this course is! Absolutely pure and sooo challenging on the greens. I would find a cheaper time in the afternoon as I don’t know if I’d pay $700+ for it.

The setting is great but the design is kinda crappy. Its hard in ways that are more annoying rather than fun. It is beautiful but just not great.

Course in perfect shape. Look for a deal time and enjoy.

One of the best courses in Los Angeles. As good as a public course can be especially in the area. Highly recommended.

Had a 1pm tee time on Saturday through a HotDeal. The weather can be anything from picture perfect to overcast and windy; and Saturday was overcast for half of it. There is an ocean view on every hole and each hole is unique and challenging (the 18th is arguably the nicest hole in Southern California golf: a par 4 503-yarder from the tips). It is a course that is as demanding as it is beautiful with well-placed hazards, thick rough, and quick, undulating greens that require proper line and speed (yesterday was approximately a 13 on the stimp).

The staff is best in class (shout-out to Manny) and the facilities are pristine with complimentary range balls to get you ready for the round.

Definitely plan on coming back for the next special occasion. Book an available tee time before someone else does!

Been playing here about 15 years. Since covid prices have 4x. Literally from $300 to $1200. Even worse, with the price increase pace of play went from average 4 hours to 5.5.

This course is in near perfect shape. The greens were punched during the final week of March and probably need less than one week to be perfect, but they still rolled wonderfully. Most of the course is in magnificent shape, but I only gave 4 stars due to the inconsistency of the sand traps. Some bunkers had fluffy sand that was very nice, but others had hardpan dirt that is raked with a thin layer of sand to make them look nice, but they play horribly. If they made all their bunkers fluffy, this course easily deserves 5 stars.

Absolutely magnificent property with ocean views on every single hole.

Looking forward to playing it again.

My 4th time playing and as a course it’s fantastic it’s a course I look forward to driving 90 mins to play, however the greens has been punched and there was no mention of this when I booked so I spoke to the pro shop and they said the GM wasn’t in until later so to play and speak after. When I did not only did they leave me to wait for 10 mins to tell me what he had said but when they finally did come to me it was to show me the updated golf now website showing it saying aerated greens symbol which was not on when I booked, each time we play we spends hundred on the round and more on merch so to deal with the disappointment of unplayable greens like this was not very Trump I’ve played with him in palm beach and his team are very customer service Davy normally but this time Keith the gym was basically telling the staff to tell us to do 1… it’s a a shame as apparently if you book direct you get an email however via golf now you don’t do I would haves saved my time and money and simply played pelican hill where we are members with great conditions for free than waste a day and loads of money to play a building site
