Trump National Golf Club

This course is in near perfect shape. The greens were punched during the final week of March and probably need less than one week to be perfect, but they still rolled wonderfully. Most of the course is in magnificent shape, but I only gave 4 stars due to the inconsistency of the sand traps. Some bunkers had fluffy sand that was very nice, but others had hardpan dirt that is raked with a thin layer of sand to make them look nice, but they play horribly. If they made all their bunkers fluffy, this course easily deserves 5 stars.

Absolutely magnificent property with ocean views on every single hole.

Looking forward to playing it again.

My 4th time playing and as a course it’s fantastic it’s a course I look forward to driving 90 mins to play, however the greens has been punched and there was no mention of this when I booked so I spoke to the pro shop and they said the GM wasn’t in until later so to play and speak after. When I did not only did they leave me to wait for 10 mins to tell me what he had said but when they finally did come to me it was to show me the updated golf now website showing it saying aerated greens symbol which was not on when I booked, each time we play we spends hundred on the round and more on merch so to deal with the disappointment of unplayable greens like this was not very Trump I’ve played with him in palm beach and his team are very customer service Davy normally but this time Keith the gym was basically telling the staff to tell us to do 1… it’s a a shame as apparently if you book direct you get an email however via golf now you don’t do I would haves saved my time and money and simply played pelican hill where we are members with great conditions for free than waste a day and loads of money to play a building site

Booked a round this past Friday and was told by both the pro shop and GolfNow that they would classify the course to absolutely be in solid playable conditions even after we received an email about maintenance (even though we couldn’t cancel for a refund at that point) Get to the course to see the greens absolutely COVERED with sand to the point where you couldn’t even putt through them. Disgraceful to still be charging so much or even allowing people to book. A bucket list course ruined by greed

No notice that they aerified the greens the day before we went. Completely covered with sand. I got an even more discounted rate in a Saturday than j did this Wednesday morning and was unable to get any sort of discount because it was already the “discounted” rate.

Got a super price from Golf now!! No BOTS stealing there times!! Starter is a Gem! All employees happy to work there! Wonderful property!!

Perfect weather 2/28/2024. Teed off 1230 and easily finished even waiting on the tees and fairways on most holes. Overall good pace and primo vistas all round long. Tee to green, course is pure! Greens are extremely difficult to read. Cant wait to play again!

Very solid course for the price paid. Pace of play was a bit slow as expected on a Sunday, was not able to finish last 3 holes before dark when I had a 2:20 tee time. Starter was very friendly, awesome guy. Overall great course and would visit again.

Always in excellent shape, Trump brings a diabolical Pete Dye experience. The course is excellent carves out of hillside, but the design of the course and the greens means no even lies, no bail out zones, and if you hit a GIR, prepare for roller coaster putts. All that said, the course is masterful with amazing views of Catalina Island and the South Bay LA coastline. Definitely check it out, but go easy on yourself and prepare for playing an above your cap day!
