Bear Creek Golf Complex - Cub Course
About
The Bear Creek Golf Complex offers two golf courses, one championship length course and one executive length course, the Cub Course. This sporty course is ideal for beginners and families. Like its sister course, the Bear Course, there are rolling fairways and well-manicured greens that have unique swales and collection areas. The design features five par 4s and the rest are par 3s, all of which vary in length. A round of golf on the Cub Course can be completed in less than three hours. The Bear Creek Golf Complex also boasts several practice facilities including a lighted driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area with a bunker.

Great experience
Had a 2pm tee time last Saturday (cub course), and assumed that I would be spending a lot of time waiting like most courses on a Saturday afternoon. This was not the case, it was a beautiful day and the course was wide open. The starter is always great and friendly too. This place is a great value especially compared to the prices some other inferior courses charge. I will be returning to play the Bear championship course for my birthday.
Solid course that is well maintained
3 hour round with great weather can’t complain. I’ve played this course a handful of times and enjoyed it every time. Greens are always well taken care of and the fairways are also in good condition.
A track to try
Kinda weird layout
Hole 9 is nice
Lots of jets overhead landing
Stadium is better
A great value for a fun course!
It was my first time playing the cub course at bear creek and I was very impressed. Greens were great! Fairways were great! And staff was friendly and easy to talk to too. Pace of play was not an issue as they allowed me to go out as a single and I noticed singles and pairs went out behind me with no issue to pace and everyone looked like they were moving along great. A very easy course if you are looking to work on your wedges and short game as slopes make it challenging to putt but made it a great time. Will be back!
Avg Course, with below avg course amenities .
The course is in ok shape. But there are many things they need to improve. First the amount of golf carts and the quality of golf carts needs to improve.
Upkeep on the course needs to be better, there are downed trees and limbs that are scattered throughout. There are very little trash cans on the tee boxes, and knowing the path to the next tee box I needs to be improved.
The pace of play is very slow on busy days !
Great little course with challenging holes in great condition
Greens are impossible
I liked the fact that they allowed twosomes and singles out by themselves and the pave of play wasn't bad, considering that. My only complaint is that the greens were very penal. Lots of undulations . Some were fast and some were slow but neither of us could make a par. By the end, it was demoralizing.
Okay Executive course to get a round in.
Course was in average condition. Pace was very slow. Lots of beginners and did not understand the pace of play. Be sure to give yourself 4 1/2 hours to get 18 in before sunset.
Fun time!
Great course to work on your short game and have a relaxing round. Greens are in good shape and challenging!
Course condition
Great course for your short game. A little bit firm but good for a little extra distance.
Confusing
Tee off app was very confusing for this course. We thought we were getting the championship course. Personnel at course say this happens very frequently!!!
