Bear Creek Golf Complex - Cub Course
About
The Bear Creek Golf Complex offers two golf courses, one championship length course and one executive length course, the Cub Course. This sporty course is ideal for beginners and families. Like its sister course, the Bear Course, there are rolling fairways and well-manicured greens that have unique swales and collection areas. The design features five par 4s and the rest are par 3s, all of which vary in length. A round of golf on the Cub Course can be completed in less than three hours. The Bear Creek Golf Complex also boasts several practice facilities including a lighted driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area with a bunker.

Took a little over 4hr to finish this executive.
Took a little over 4hr to finish this executive. Pace of play was extremely slow. The holiday would most likely be the probable cause, but it would be nice if they had cart services running both courses, not only the big course. Beverages and snacks would help ease the added wait times. It was quite evident they had one on the big course. This is usually the case when I play the short course, makes it a "bear" (pun intended) during summer play.
Great Beginner Course!
Friendly and inviting staff. I highly recommend this course if you’re just starting to learning the game. Excellent experience!!
Fun afternoon at the Cub
I like this course and today was particularly fun. Played alone and really enjoyed myself. Hit the ball well and with great fairways and soft greens, I scored well. Thanks for all the upgrades to this course through the years. The price is more than a year ago but I guess that is to be expected given the cost of fuel and employees. Thanks to Carlo and the office staff for a friendly greeting every time I show up.
Cub course
Love the cub course it’s a good quick round to get in after work. Champions course you really gotta get morning tee times cause that’s a long course. Greens could be in better shape for the price you pay but it’s not a huge deal.
Bear course review
Course looked good, fairways were in good shape, no drink cart person. I would like to see club house stock more golf equipment. Needed shoes for a player you don’t have them.
I would like to see the course add lights for twilight golf
Surprisingly nice conditions. Forgiving. Overall great for a par 59. Only weird thing was no cart paths but it was pretty cool driving to your ball on par 3’s. Great for iron practice or beginners/kids.
Scenic short course
Enjoyable afternoon on a well maintained course. Many holes are longer than expected but with minimal hazards making play rewarding.
Bear course looks fantastic, Cub course needs love
Wow! What a difference between their executive course (Cub) and their championship course (Bear). Bear has nice lush green fairways and greens. Cub looks like an sibling that got less attention and was feed the bare minimum of water It’s acceptable to play if you pay less than say $25-30. Anything more than that I’d look for another executive course in the area or try to get on the Bear course for a couple bucks more. We did finish the cub course in less than 2 hours and it does have about 4-5 par 4 holes. The course layout was pretty basic. No ball washers that I can remember. I think it only had 1 bunker at the 18th hole. If you can get on without paying much I’d recommend it.
Didn’t get to play
I was in urgent care passing a kidney stone. Didn’t get to play. But they charged me for it! Yay!!!!! So not only did I have to pay my urgent care fees, I also had to pay for golf I couldn’t go to and didn’t cancel because I was in too much pain and on pain meds. But hey, they got their money!!
