Located in the West Valley, the championship-length course at the Coldwater Golf Club boasts several different challenges for an interesting round of golf. There are elevated tees as well as several dry washes. There are two lakes providing water hazards on the golf course as well. There are also dramatic elevation changes caused by the mountainous terrain. Aside from the challenging game, the course also offers beautiful mountain vistas. The course has not only one signature course but two. The first is the modest eighth hole. Although it is short at 100 yards, it features an elevated tee and a triple-tiered green. Coldwater Golf Club also finishes with a signature hole. The beginning tee shot plays to an open fairway over water with a dry wash to the left, while the approach shot is closed-in by another wash to the left and a lake to the right.

Winter golf

Got good deal on golfnow. Course not in great shape. Fairways spotty uneven growth, rough mostly dirt/mud. Tee boxes uneven with bare areas. Greens were ok, but very slow. Play was slow, but may have just been one group 2 ahead of ours. Would return if no other reasonably priced winter option.

Coldwater GC

Excellent customer service. Nice layout - good course. A bit of slow play on back nine, but still finished at 4 hours! Highly recommend this course.

Quirky but fun

Putting was like a tile floor for speed control. Greens were quirky and full of slopes. A couple should have had a clown face. One was of a side of hill. If it wasn’t in cup it was 12 feet away. Just stupid. The fairways were in great shape. Take away the stupid hole and it was a good value.

Great course

The course was in excellent condition. Greens rolled beautifully. As I was first out, I was great to have it all to myself! Unfortunately, I'm being relocated to another state but enjoyed AZ courses tremendously. This course was the closest to me and well worth their fees. If I can make it back it will be on my target list.

Not worth it

Teed off 20 min later than schedule and then just shy of five hours to play. Mentioned something to the ranger who was not interested and just laughed and said “ looks like we scheduled too many rounds” he obviously is just collecting a check and not interested in actually monitoring the things he is supposed to.

Coldwater

If this makes sense, the actual course layout would be solid anywhere else on the planet but where it is. Woeful maintenance and slim pickings as far as practice goes. The guy inside was awesome and warmly greeted me. Other than that this place is entirely avoidable.

Much improved

Fairways & greens in good condition. Some tee boxes still need work. Slow play. 5 hrs. 15 mins. No refreshment cart on course. No starter on the first tee. Didn't see a course Marshall entire round. This on a holiday week. Enjoyed my round anyway. Already have a tee time for next week.

Rough with potential

Course was barely in average shape. Grass from overseed is not fully flush on fairways and greens. Small bare spots not filled in leaving fairways bumpy and greens not fully covered. Good layout and staff were nice. No beverage cart or Marshall on course. Does appear efforts underway to improve.

Course has improved. I had stopped playing at CW for months due to the worst greens I had ever seen. The course has improved, I would play this course again

Was green and pretty spacious

It was in pretty good condition, greens not too bad, pace of play was pretty slow but it was holiday time so might be different in a normal week. Staff were awesome… I would do it again the value was there
