Located in the West Valley, the championship-length course at the Coldwater Golf Club boasts several different challenges for an interesting round of golf. There are elevated tees as well as several dry washes. There are two lakes providing water hazards on the golf course as well. There are also dramatic elevation changes caused by the mountainous terrain. Aside from the challenging game, the course also offers beautiful mountain vistas. The course has not only one signature course but two. The first is the modest eighth hole. Although it is short at 100 yards, it features an elevated tee and a triple-tiered green. Coldwater Golf Club also finishes with a signature hole. The beginning tee shot plays to an open fairway over water with a dry wash to the left, while the approach shot is closed-in by another wash to the left and a lake to the right.

Disappointed!

This was the worst greens I've played on this year. What happened to the course? It is in terrible shape and summer isn't here yet!

Pulse be better

First i would like to say i enjoy the course layout and challenge. That said, the fairways are good however greens can use a lot of TLC.. The ball bounces more than it rolls.

They’ve let the course go sadly…

Coldwater used to be an amazing course, it’s no longer the case, the course surely has been neglected for whatever reason. The rough is nothing but bald hills with patchy areas of dead grass. Most fairways were inconsistent and in very dry shape, the greens are unputtable. It’s so sad to see such a great track go to the worst shape of its time. The course needs some serious TLC to bring golfers back out. No matter how much we were charged to play, it was a waste of a day of golf.

Disappointment

This golf course keeps getting worse and worse. Kind of reminds me of Great Eagle up in Surprise/Sun City in how the course kept on declining. The only way to enjoy this course is to stripe it down the fairway, hit your next shot within 6 inches of the cup, and make birdie/eagle. Because if you hit it anywhere else on the green, it’s an automatic 3-putt. The greens are terrible. Since they’re a mix of dead grass, bushy grass, and somewhat normal grass. Fairways are ok. Tee boxes are hit or miss. If you can get on for $20 or less, maybe play here. Other than that.. it can be a very frustrating round.

Don't waste your money.

I was skeptical about this course when booking due to some reviews but decided to give it a chance. I could not believe how horrible the conditions were. Luckily I only paid $50 compared to others that day. The course is not worth $20. It was a warm day in Arizona with temperatures at 100%. One would think the coolers on the course would have water. None of the coolers were filled. My tee time was 10:00 am. I can live with fairways not being in the best shape but when the greens are diseased and not maintained that's unacceptable. The only positive to playing at this course was the on course cart attendant was pleasant. Other than this just close the course and build houses. What's the point.

It’s a Stretch Calling this Place a Gokf Course…..

…… in its present conditions. Greens…… complete crap. Tee boxes…. crap.

Coldwater has never been pristine. But, it was generally an ok economical course to play. Now it’s a dump.

Good ol coldwater

Always a great wide space to launch and drop on. 🚀 had a 12:50 tee time for $32. Arrived at 12:15 and Dougie at the pro shop was very nice. He explained it was thin out on the course and since traffic was slow it was wide open to play whenever I was ready. Played in 2hr45mins with 2balls . Great challenging course to get your shots in and enough distance on almost every hole to bring out the driver . Great value - great golf

Horrible Greens

The course was in decent shape except the the greens the were absolutely horrible. The green fees were good but you definitely are not paying for the greens! I have played this course before I do not know what happened.
