About
Located in the West Valley, the championship-length course at the Coldwater Golf Club boasts several different challenges for an interesting round of golf. There are elevated tees as well as several dry washes. There are two lakes providing water hazards on the golf course as well. There are also dramatic elevation changes caused by the mountainous terrain. Aside from the challenging game, the course also offers beautiful mountain vistas. The course has not only one signature course but two. The first is the modest eighth hole. Although it is short at 100 yards, it features an elevated tee and a triple-tiered green. Coldwater Golf Club also finishes with a signature hole. The beginning tee shot plays to an open fairway over water with a dry wash to the left, while the approach shot is closed-in by another wash to the left and a lake to the right.

Overall course was in rough shape. Greens were extremely bad. Ball was bouncing all over the place.
Hidden gem
Take the reviews with a grain of salt, this course doesn’t pretend to be a resort or high end course. For the green fee, it was better than I expected.
Rough and desert areas are barren, but it isn’t any different than playing other courses where it’s raked dirt or rocks.
Greens look a little unkempt at first glance, but they did roll pretty pure.
Overall, the reviews don’t do it justice and I will be coming back. Paying half price than other courses, it’s still a round of golf and fun to play.
Greens
Greens are in horrible shape, they have bare spots and there is no true to the roll of the ball.
Disappointing
Can't believe the tee boxes and greens. Impossible to putt. Fairways were in great shape. If I would have know about the greens being so bad I would have played somewhere else.

I was very disappointed in the condition of the greens and around the greens. The golf course was not maintained properly. The greens looked like they had two different grases, one being dead. Around the greens were absolutely bear with limited grass. Overall me and the gentleman I played with were very disappointed and upset on the course condition.
Fun Course
This course is fun to play. Lots of undulating fairways and gulleys to navigate. Greens a bit rough but run true. Certainly not a top tier course but a good municipal course. Worth playing it if you can book it for about $60 or so.
Good layout. Grass was good on the fairways.
Greens need some TLC & water. Otherwise it in ok shape.
Greens Rough and Poor Value
The greens were very rough, bumpy and slow. The fairways were sparse and rough non existent. Very poor value for the $100 price.
Bad shape
Don’t bother playing this course for probably another year. Fairway grass too long trying to cover up dead spots. Greens were horrible due to two kinds of grass growing at two different speeds so you end up with dead spots and inconsistent speeds, save your money this course is not worth it
Very, very, Poor condition
This course is in very ooor condition. The “grass” on the greens should be an embarrassment. The fairway grass would be acceptable (not good) for summer grass. Way overpriced for what you get.
Don’t go there
Please do yourself a favor and don’t go to this course.
The pictures on this site do not represent the course at ALL.
The tee boxes are uneven and have very little grass and the greens are a hit and hope as the ball bounces in every direction except to the hole.
Fairway are 70 percent weeds and grass and the rest is dirt.
Book this course because of the pictures on GolfNow and was thoroughly disappointed
Not in great condition
Fairways were ok, but rough and beyond in very poor condition. Greens were marginal, very bumpy. Tee boxes were in poor condition.
