The tee boxes are uneven and have very little grass and the greens are a hit and hope as the ball bounces in every direction except to the hole.

Fairway are 70 percent weeds and grass and the rest is dirt.

Book this course because of the pictures on GolfNow and was thoroughly disappointed

Fairways were ok, but rough and beyond in very poor condition. Greens were marginal, very bumpy. Tee boxes were in poor condition.

Greens are horrible, tee boxes terrible.

Greens mostly bare patches and some green fuzz. Tee boxes totally beat up.

Staff ok, pace fine, layout decent, weather good.

Been playing this course for many years. They seem to have finally fixed their tee boxes, but they lost their greens, sadly. Spotty grass, inconsistent speed. Almost like us northerners would liken to winterkill. Pace of play was pretty good, mostly because hardly anyone was on the course! Cart girl was super friendly and we must have seen her about 6 times (again, probably because there was hardly anyone there). We won’t be going back until next year, when hopefully, their greens have come back.

Greens are brutal layout is great fairways not the best

The course was pretty bad . Greens were very spotted dead and very bad. Tee boxes were like someone ran the Baja 500 on them. Plenty of water so there should be no excuse for the condition. Really bad. They have the balls to charge top rated. What a joke

The course was in excellent shape. I would like to see more attention paid to the tee boxes. Very rough and looks like tees from a couple weeks everywhere.

Absolutely the worst greens I've ever played on. Staff should not only tell you ahead of time the greens are rough, but should also offer a 10-20% discount because they are so bad. $90 for that?!? Putting was a joke. Way too much money for these conditions. Cmon! I won't be back for a long time. Used to be one of my go to courses for the value...no longer.

Also took 5 hours to play! Horrendous! Ranger was ineffective. These other players need to know that the expectation is 4 hours for the round. People were apparently stopping for lunch...cmon who does that? Very disappointing day! You lost my business.

We played this course in the summer which you would expect not too favorable conditions do to the Arizona sun. I thought we would return to see how things were now and yes, they’ve changed a little bit but still not a course worth $60 for afternoon. Brown areas, hard ground and so many other courses to play and spend. I wont be back.

Staff was super and restaurant smelled fantastic.

Have played Coldwater numerous times in the last few years and always enjoyed it. Today was my last round I will play there. I was embarrassed that I invited friends out that have never played here. Tee boxes are rough on most holes, fairways are decent but the areas around the fairways and tee boxes is like going out to the goat farm. The greens are truly the worst in the greater Phoenix area. I don’t know if the course is under new management or in financial trouble but it is not well maintained. Don’t waste your money here.

Layout was interesting, not very attractive surroundings. Tee boxes and fairways were very good, greens really bumpy. Pretty good value for high season. Would do it again.
